Icannot connect to my homail account on my ipad.Can do so on my pc.

For the last 3 days on my ipad i get the message "cannot connect to server" Have been to apple and problem does not seem to be with the ipad.Can get hotmail on my other devices.

Although MS website says the problem is corrected, I am still unable to sync my email to my iPad.

hey microsoft... i have been working very diligently with @winphonesupport on twitter in trying to resolve this issue to no resolve. your status site states all programs are up and running and this is definitely not the case at all. i have not been able to reliably access my email on my nokia lumia 928 (a windows phone) since wednesday. i have completed all of the steps asked of me by @winphonesupport short of deleting my account from my phone. i have received multiple error codes with the current error code being 86000C09.

 

if you look through the support forums, i am not the only one still having this issue. i can also personally confirm that my son is having the exact same issue on his phone with horribly slow sync times, no updated email and consistent error codes.

 

please acknowledge this issue and work on a resolution. this loss of functionality is unacceptable.

Outlook mobile sync issue

Microsoft, please fix this mobile syncing issue for outlook.  This is the 4th day that I'm unable to sync either my iPhone or iPad to my Outlook (old Hotmail) account.  I've followed the outlined steps of uninstalling and reinstalling my account and deleting the cache and the problem persists.  It is ridiculous that this has been unresolved for so long.

I am attempting to access my account but my password has been changed without my knowledge. When I click on the link to have a temporary password sent to my email, I never receive the email. I have attempted this several times and it does not work. I have also filled out the questionnaire on the password recovery page several times and have receive an email stating that I have failed to provide enough info too many times and can no loner fill it out. How do I go about resetting my password now? Again, both options provided by clicking the forgot password link have been exhausted AND my password was changed by someone other than me, i.e. hacked.

Someone hacked my Windows Live ID alias that I tried signing into.. E-mail Address doesn't belong to me and is registered to an Account out In China (16*******@qq.com) I tried Automated Verification steps to help resolve the issue several times and so far I keep getting an e-mail that there was insufficient information provided which I know is wrong. I could verify IP Address or by other means any type of Information that was used during Sign-Up.  Please Help!

Unable to sync emails from mobile device

Hi,

I am not able to read my outlook.com emails from any of my mobile devices (iphone, surface tablet running 8.1, laptop running 8). It works fine when using a browser from any of these devices. But when I use the mail apps in any of these devices it does not work.

Is any one else facing this issue?

Can anyone suggest a solution for this?

when I updated my security info it showed an email address that is not mine or one I know – does this mean someone hacked my email?

I'm concerned that when I updated my security information on  my Hotmail account, an email address showed that does not belong to me or anyone I am familiar with. Does this mean that someone has gained access to my email? If so, will they be blocked out now that I've changed my password?

Email was working until outlook outage this week.  My phone stopped syncing any messages.  I removed the account from my phone and added it back - now I have nothing.  I tried downloading the outlook app, but any new messages after Thursday do not sync.  My preference is to not use the outlook app, I really need one of these working on my phone.
