Like many others, I immediately began having problems after being forced to update to WLE.
I have followed all of the procedures in the order provided.
Four freaking times.
I'm done.
I need help and I need it soon because I have to have messenger in order to communicate with my school cohort. I've spent way too much time on this and I need serious help and fast. Please give me a heads up. I have saved the application logs just tell me
where to send them.
For the record, after following the procedure and after rebooting MSN messenger does appear to load. however, as soon as I try and sign in it gives me the cursed message that I have to update to the new version in order to continue. Lather. Rinse. Repeat.
I seem to be having the same issue as others. My daughter just got a new cell number and when added to my contacts I have not had success with getting a connection with her, I have previously added ppl with just cell number with no problem but have tried
numerous times deleting then rebooting and adding again to no avail. It seems there are other with the same issue but by the looks of things the questions go unanswered!

I have hotmail in english and my msn plage is english but the messenger is a foreign language??
I recently switched from another email address to this one, and I exported all my contacts on the old one to my pc. I then imported them to this new account. They seem to have been imported fine on the Windows Live website, but when I login to messenger
I can't find any of the contacts.
My friends does not show up as online on messenger direct on my computer, but if I log in on messenger via hotmail I can communicate with them!
What is the cause of this problem? I have seen this the last three days. Installing the latest updated version did not help - and the one before was only installed in april this year...

I am new back to messenger, but I am sure that there used to be a 'beep' when a contact signed in, or sent an IM - anyone any ideas?
I go into messenger and my first page is main page then i have to click inbox to get my messages.How can i just go straight to my messages without doing this procedure all the time? How can i remove the main window when i start messenger.

Hi. Instead of coming through as normal email messages they are coming through as lists of single words. I must have changed something but I have no idea what. Please could someone help? Many thanks.
