I am trying to sign in to Windows Essentials Messenger. When trying to reach the service agreement, I get an error code 80048834.

somehow demon alcohol took advantage of me and apparently i clicked on the dropdown arrow to the left of a friend's avatar an hid hers. actually all of them :( the box is now gone. I cannot believe short of i got hacked, that msn live messenger is this
unforgiving. Gone through all options on her page and my msn messenger home page, don't see how to undo my sin. any help? how do i get that dropbox option back?
Habe mein Kennwort zurückstellen lassen, weil es nicht erkannt wurde. Das neue Kennwort ist als Konto daten erkannt, aber beim Anmelden zum Messenger wird es immer verändert und dann nicht angenommen. Es wird immer der fehler 80048820 angegeben, aber ich

Just had PC repaired asnd now cant get separate Messner panel/box showing contacts and ability to send files and photos etc. Howe cvan I get this now - at present it is only a small part of the main hotmail page.

Whilst in full view in messenger, all msn content is in spanish - Also, when first installing messenger the introductory window was in Spanish as well. I have messenger set to english in the options menu. Can someone please help - thx
