I have MS Messenger with 2 seperate email addresses, one is a Hotmail account and the second is with a Live account. Each has is own list of contacts. When Messenger switches over to Skype, will I get 2 seperate Skype accounts ( I hope that happens) with
the appropriate contacts lists applied to each account? I do not want these contact lists combined.

We did the migration to Skype but it will not let my daughter use her instant messaging live account because it says "Sorry you can not sign into Skype with your Microsoft account because you do not meet the age limit requirerment" She is 10 and communicates with family members who have windows phones etc.

Can I appear offline on one computer and available on another or does setting one to appear offline effect both. Thanks
I use messenger strictly for chat and i use a lot of custom emoticons. I see that skype has no support for custom emoticons. Will I still be able to use my old messenger application? If one of my friends and myself still retain the old application, will
we be able to log in, chat and send each other custom emoticons?
I signed into messenger today and it came up with a new screen making me select "Social" or "MSN", I selected MSN, and it them came up but all my contacts are gone.
Is there a way to get them back
