I am trying to register my domain for Windows Live under "domains.live.com". To do this, I need to prove ownership of this domain by creating a DNS record, which I have done. The MX record is successfully saved on the host server with all the details as required. However, when I click on the refresh button under "Manage Domains" it continues to insist that I need to provide proof of ownership (by creating the MX record...which is already done).
No matter how many times I repeat this process I can't get Windows Live to check that the MX record is there. I have also verified that the MX record is set up correctly several times, and I am convinced that it is, so this is not the problem -- For some reason, Windows Live is just not able to verify the MX records on the host server properly.
Can anyone help?
While I was trying to set up Live Mail, in one of the inboxes, it said at the bottom there were 10 messages, which was right, but only 6 were showing on the screen.
I tried deleting them and re-importing, but same thing.
I tried to uninstall Live Mail, and downloaded it again. The newly downloaded version still had accounts I had put in before. Seems like it should have been a fresh, clean version.
I uninstalled it again. When I looked in "C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\Microsoft", the "Windows Live Mail" folder was still there, with the accounts I had previously set up in it. Seems like all of that should have been removed when I did the uninstall.
Is there something I can do about this?
Dear Sir / Madam,
Good Day!
Refer to the above subject, currently I'm using my email client as WINDOWS LIVE MAIL 2011 & 2012 for my various gadget devices. Hence, recently I've subscribe with Office 365 provider, and thus, set-up with my new mailer ID, using client as WINDOWS LIVE MAIL 2011 & 2012. Well, no issues in sending and replying mails.
But however, notice that each time while sending-out mails, I'm keep getting read message mail immediately thereafter at my INBOX for each of the send-out mails, before other parties could receive my mail and acknowledge, since I've incorporated READ MESSAGE RECEIPT though. WHY? Please advise.
Thanks & Regards,
A.Maran
Hi all,
Currently I am getting an issue with using apostrophe in windows live mail under Windows 7 platform. I will get a ascii character whenever I use the apostrophe in Windows live mail. I was able to find a solution from changing the default font to "Western European (Windows)" from "Western European (ISO)". But this only solve half of the issue, because I am still getting the ascii character during printout of the email. Can anyone please help me with this issue?
Thanks and best regards,
Alex.
