I'm having a problem with Windows Live Mail.  Some of my contacts are unable to send me an e-mail.  Yhey are getting undeliverable/email address does not exist messages even when they try to reply to my email.  They had no problemswheb I previously used XP and Outlook.  Also, some of the pictures coming with an email do not come thru.  Any suggestions?
In Windows Live Mail I received Error Code: 0x8CCC0002, when sending an email message.  What is the problem and how is it corrected?  I cannot resolve problem nor send messages with problem unresolved
In the last few weeks Live Mail is not downloading all incoming mails from my ISP's webmail to the inbox. Each time I open it up it is downloading some, others disappear completely, only to appear in the Mail inbox around 2 weeks later. If there are 4 mails in my webmail, 3 new ones get downloaded along with one old one, but all four disappear from my webmail so the problem appears to be Mail not my ISP webmail. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Live essentials several times but the problem keeps occurring. For info I am using vista home premium 32 bit version. I am now currently using an old  live essentials 2009 version which so far seems ok. but of course Windows update keeps trying to update to the latest version.

I recently migrated to a new laptop and imported my old Outlook 6 messages to Windows Mail Live. I then compacted. I was able to use Windows Live normally, send and receive messages, etc., for about a day. The next time I closed Windows Mail Live, it started a process showing a box that says "Making a backup copy of the current database . . ."

That was 2.5 days ago. It still says it is backing up, the disk is still running constantly, the computer is slow, and I cannot open Windows Mail Live to access my messages.

I have a good-sized email database (about 10G in Outlook 6), but I am concerned that (a) something is wrong, and the backup will never finish, or (b) it could be days or weeks before it finishes and I am again able to access my messages via Windows Live Mail.

Can I safely stop the back-up process? Is it normal for it to take so long? (I have a 7200 disk, and a three-month old Dell XPS15 with 8G RAM, so I doubt it is a speed-of-hardware issue.) Also, how can I set settings so that backups in the future are less long or done less frequently?

I am using Windows 7 Home Premium. Windows Mail Live updated as of October 1, 2012. Dell XPS15 laptop.

Thanks in advance.

my older mail ID was *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. i tried to change it to *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. but now i want to revert back to my older id *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. But I m not able to revert it back from 'Update Email' option given by live.com.
In my phone (WP7.5) I used older id (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***) as a primary account and not able to modify/delete it to newer one.  Does anybody know how to revert my account with *** Email address is removed for privacy ***.

I am running windows 7 SP1 with 4 G ram and an intel I5 processor and direct X 11 Ihave downloaded windows essential from the web and it appears to have installed OK. The programs  i.e. messenger etc are itemised in the start menu. However when I click on any of the Essential programs there is a brief pause while windows searches? for the program and then nothing else happens. None of the Essential programns will respond. Twice I have uninstalled and reinstalled the programs and also checked if the firewall is blocking the application. I have wasted much time and effort on this problem.
When I try to foward mail with pictures, I get an error message . The error message is "One or more of the pictures in this message  could not be found. When you send this message these pictures will not be included. Are you sure you want to send this message?" This happens qiute often but not all the time.
I am using Windows Live Mail desktop, Version 2011 (Build 15.4.3555.0308.
It shows one unread message in the inbox but I can't find it. How do I temporarily change the settings so it shows only unread messages?
I know this is not hotmail but every time I searched it sent me here.
Thanks
