Windows Live Mail—— Exporting & Importig email messages.

Exported email messages from a 32 bit Windows 7 Prof onto a USB stick, empty folder. When Importing onto a 64 bit Windows 7 Prof, newly installed, following normal procedure it appears to import email messages but there is no messages in the Storage Folder, they have disappeared.

Can you Help?

Jeg har brugt Windows Live Mail gennem længere tid uden problemer. Pludselig er der problemer med at læse mails etc. Det virker som om, selve programmet er ude af trit. Når jeg prøver at åbne indbakken så kan jeg ikke se mails i oversigten, men een i læse ruden. Jeg kan ikke arkivere etc. Er der en måde hvor på jeg kan reinstallere uden at miste de mange mails jeg har liggende lokalt i mit mappesystem?

Hi I've download windows essential 2012 and for some reason it wont open. I tried un-installung it then re-install it but it still wont work so I used the troubleshoot but it still wont work so I tried reporting it but it says incompatible application so I updated my windows but after I done all of this it still wouldn't work. By the way I have Windows 7 and I've already used windows essential 2012 before using this laptop but I went to get it fixed because it has been affected by virus so I had to install it again because they deleted all my softwares. What can I do i've tried everything I can but still wont work

Why do I get strange figures replacing ‘ and “” in Windows Live mail text?

Figures replace apostrophe and quotation marks in outgoing and incoming message text. Tried changing coding but  did not help.

Live Mail – how do I report a Phishing Scam?

I am thankful that HOTMAIL still exists. Windows Live Mail doesn't seem to have a capability for reporting Phishing Scams. I don't know what you do with these often stupidly-constructed attempted frauds in HOTMAIL when we label them and they vanish, but it's comforting to know that less cognisant "Dear Beneficiary" or "Congratulations, you've won the Lottery" recipients might be protected from sending their personal details to these evil liars.

If it's a known company, I always try to alert them. My own bank insists on messages pretending to come from it being copied or Forwarded to their security website [and somehow, the scammers cloned one of this bank's actual web security addresses!].

As to Live, am I missing something? All the Web Help is for HOTMAIL.

Live Mail signature wont display image

Hi All

Does anyone else have this problem?
I have created a signature file in Windows Live Mail as per help instructions. I have added an image that is 8kb in size.
When I create new email message. The signature file displays with exception of the picture. I get a black outlined box with a black x in the tp left corner.
Any help would be gratefully received. Very frustrating!

Lost folders in Windows Live Mail 2011

have windows live mail 2011 from a pop server  had 6 folders in the e mail  at the bottom I pressed something

 lost all the folders . the only thing left the word recoverey

Problem with synchronizing Windows Live Mail.

Have been using Windows Live Mail for a couple of years. Recently the message at the top say's "Windows Live Mail is synchronizing this account, check back in a few minutes to read your messages." But nothing happens, does not synchronize.
