Hello,

From my understanding, the only way to put files onto your skydrive is to drag and drop them into that folder.
Typically, when I save documents, I save them on my computer rather than on skydrive because I want to have a copy directly on my computer. However, I would like to have a document saved on skydrive as well as on my computer directly.
Instead of having to save a document on both my skydrive AND on my computer directly, is there a way to sync this? Therefore, when I save a word document for example, in a folder in my computer that same word document will automatically show up on my skydrive as well without me having to copy it there.

I guess this concept is analogous to the apple cloud.. when a photo is taken on my iphone, I can access that photo on my computer through the cloud without having to copy and paste or drag and drop said photo on my computer separately. It is there automatically.

I hope this makes sense. Please let me know how I can do this!

Thank you.

I no longer can open a word doc within the Skydrive OneNote web app. in the resent past you could just double click on it and it would opne. now you can't. if you right click it will let you down load it, but I am working on a project with other people and we are sharing the documnts and when I down load the doc, make the needed changes it will not let me copy and past new doc back into skydrive. how can access the doc's in Skydrive better?

Also, I have tried IE, Firefox and same problem.

Hello,

I'm on a Surface Pro with the Win 8.1 preview using Office 365 Home Premium. Anytime I create a Word document and perform a "Save As" command and choose my Skydrive folder, the resulting file never syncs.  The upload center from the notifications state that no files are pending; yet if I choose the Skydrive app from the start screen it lists the file as "Pending" but the status never changes and the file never syncs.

However, if I "save as" a file from Word somewhere else (ie, the desktop), and then manually drag the file into the Skydrive folder, it syncs instantly.

Any thoughts? It seems as if there's a bug in that Skydrive isn't correctly recognizing that there's a new file if it gets saved directly from Word. For that matter, the same thing happens from Excel. To add insult to injury, if I perform a "Save As" from a non-MS program (like Photoshop), and choose my Skydrive folder, it syncs correctly.

As additional info for troubleshooting: using the Task manager, if I end the processes of both "SkyDrive" and "Microsoft SkyDrive", then relaunch the SkyDrive app from the Start screen, everything that was stuck on "pending" suddenly uploads correctly.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

A few days ago I wanted to copy a Word document with pictures from my PC to my MacBook.  So I sent an email with a large attachment from my PC Outlook 2010/Hotmail email, which I then later on opened in Outlook/Hotmail on my Mac.  My MacBook Pro Retina running OS X 10.7.5  with Outlook 2011 for Mac. Since then this 28MB mail has been sending itself every 20 minutes or so on the Mac only.  The repeated mail doesn't show up on my PC and it doesn't show in the Mac Sent box.  I.e. the only place I can see that mail again and again is in my Mac inbox.  This is obviously driving me crazy so any ideas would be most welcome
I previously was able to do this by clicking the forward button and then perform editing (on the e-mail to be forwarded) including the cutting and pasting but the ability to do this now has disappeared.
