Hi there.

Keep getting this message whilst trying to access Windows Live Mail.

Unable to send or receive messages for the Ntlworld (s.redington) account. An incorrect password was entered. The next time you send or receive messages, you'll be asked to enter your user name and password for this account.

Server Error: 0x800CCC90

Server: 'pop.ntlworld.com'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC92

I'm pretty sure that I have never set up a password for this and it has never asked for a password until a few days ago.

I have tried entering a new pasword but still keep receiving same message. Any help much appreciated

This error ID comes up. Ox80004003. Protocol SMTP. Port 25. Secure(SSL):no.

After a few attempts I find I can no longer send any emails (with or without attatchments) Can anyone help with this problem?

I recently moved from my old Windows XP computer using Outlook Express to  new computer with Windows 7 . I downloaded and installed Windows Live Mail 2012 version. I (apparently) successfuly migrated my OE email address book to WLM. I routinely sent group email messages to as many as 30 recipients in OE. When I tried the same group that I had successfully used a few weeks previously in OE with WLM it truncated the list of 32 and sent the message to 14. I did check through the list of 32 to make sure that the transfer had resulted in valid email addresses for all.

In looking around  at various forums there was some speculation that WLM would allow no more than a group of 12. I therefore set up three new group contacts consisting of 11, 11 and 10 email addresses. When I attempted to send to all three of these new groups simultaneously a message was sent to only 13 with a distribution of 4 from group one, five from group 2 and 4 from group three. Perplexed, I tried sending to only one goup of 11. The message was sent to only 7 of the 11.  I tried another group and it sent to 8 of the 11. Finally, it would only send to 1 of the group of 10.  If I repeat the experiment for any of the three groups WLM seems to choose any old random number ranging from 1 to 8 that it will send from the group of 10 or 11. Given how long I have spent fussing around with this I could have just typed in the individual names (which I have not tried to see if there is a limit there too). But, that would defeat he idea of a group contact wouldn't it? Normal messages sent to 1 or 2 recipients seems to be working ok.

Does anyone have any idea as to what is going on here? Is there a limit to a contact group size with teh 2012 WLM? This really seems like a step backward from XP and OE which never gave he smallest problem with this type of thing.

Thanks for any suggestion you might offer.

I've been having same problem since last week when TalkTalk upgraded to "next generation network". Have gone through checks with them but they are saying the problem is not with them. When sending email from ALL 3 of my toucansurf.com accounts using Windows Live Mail this message comes up:

Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity.

Subject 'TEST1'
Server: 'smtp.toucansurf.com'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0F
Protocol: SMTP
Port: 25
Secure(SSL): No

but not when I send from my talktalk.net email address !!

I am receiveing incomming emails on windows live mail on a 64bit Windows 7 Computer

If I try to send emails I receive a server error message 530 how do I fix this problem

I bought a new computer. I added it to my home network and transferred data from my old computer to my new computer using the network. I started up Windows Live Mail on my new computer and used  'file import' to bring in my old email files.  The 'import' function saw and imported my 'Windows Mail' files (I used Windows Mail on my old computer through 2009, then switched to Windows Live Mail), but it couldn't see or import my 'Windows Live Mail' files. I know the old Windows Live Mail email files are there, but I can't figure out why Windows Live Mail can't see them or how to import them. Any suggestions?

I recently purchased a 64 bit computer with Windows 7 OS and Windows Live mail, and a Canon 700F scanner.

The scanner is supposed to attach scanned documents to the email program just by a push of the E-Mail buttom on the end of the unit.  This fails to happen, howerver.  I am fairly confident that I have properly selected the various settings and preferences on the scanner, and have also downloaded the latest drivers for the scanner.

When the attachment fails, a message pops up advising to check the mail programsettings.  I have looked at the various settings, but cannot find any that I think would make a difference.

Any help in this regard would be appreciated.

I am trying to create an e-signature in Windows live mail. The Q&A says "If you want to automatically include your signature in all of your messages, select the Add signatures to all outgoing messages check box.", but I cannot find a options or tool icon to do this. Can anyone help?
On my new computer, I'm trying to import dbx files from my old computer's Outlook Express. I am trying to do this one folder at a time in order to keep things in some sort of order. In its Storage folder, WLM sets up an "imported folder" each time I do an import, but it's empty and the imported emails are nowhere to be found. I can search "all mail" and find a huge unsorted mass of everything I've imported, but none of it appears in a folder anywhere in the navigation bar on the left side. Any insights?

I tried to export from Windows Live Mail to CONTACTS; no luck!

I read sync takes place if signed in with ID; no luck!

What to do?
