My action bar (Reply, Forward etc) in Windows Live Mail "disappeared" - only reappears if I click on "Home" button for each message to handle - why?  how to restore it?
Hello!
I get the following error message when clicking on Windows Live Mail 2011:

Unable to send or receive messages for the Windows Live Mail account.
Server Error: 0x80048849
Server: 'http://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x80048849

I am running Windows 7.
When I have new mail, the program works fine and there are no error messages.... however, it displays
the above message every other time I open the Windows Live Mail 2011 program.

I have tried repairing the Windows Live 2011 programs using control panel, and have re-installed Windows Live 2011
and the same problem occurs.
I have removed and re-installed my mail account several times and that does not help, either.

My Hotmail address is:  <removed by the moderator>

Please help!  Thank you!

Windows Live mail Storage folders dissappeared from WLM. Any idea where I can look for them? I have vital information in them I have stored for years.

I think the Mail in Windows 8 is very poor so I downloaded Windows Essentials to use Windows Live Mail.

The problem I am having is that when I attach photos to an email it automatically uses SkyDrive.

I cannot find how to change this, is it possible? The Windows 8 mail uses SkyDrive as an option.

I do not really want to use Windows 8 mail for messages with attachments and Live Mail for those without.

I have loaded windows live mail on to my new windows 7 machine.

I can send and receive mail just fine but when the program goes out to look for new mail

Sometimes (I think only when there are no new messages)

I get a pop up window that says

Some errors occurred while processing the requested task

Please review the list of errors below for more details-

The only task showing in that pop up window is

Check for new mail and the error tab shows no errors?

I am receiving mail in my Windows live mail, but I can not open the e-mail it keeps on showing a window that says it has incurred a problem try again
When I send a mail there should be a copy saved in the folder 'Sent'. However this does not work. I have checked all settings over and over again but find nothing suspicious. And, yes, I have checked the box "Save copy of sent messages in the 'Sent Items' folder". I thought it might be something with the server, but when using web-mail I do get a copy in the sent messages folder, and it is eventually copied into the 'Sent' folder of Windows Live Mail as well, after synchronizing. It is only when I send from Windows Live Mail that I do not get a copy in the 'Sent' folder.

Any ideas?

I have multiple email addresses, and am unable to connect to them. I can access them through my web access.

I can get it when I first open Windows Live Mail, I am using POP 3 server.

If I keep Mail open, every few minutes I get a new windows showing indicating some errors occured. I have attempted to repair Windows Live 3 times.

Nothing changes. Any suggestions please before I uninstall and get another message system.

Thank you
