Windows live mail 2012 stopped syncing on Windows 7 , works installed on Windows 8 standard

my Windows live mail won't sync anymore since about April 26, 2014 ..  I get the following error:: 

Unable to send or receive messages for the Live (glenninpublic) account.

Server Error: 3204
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE20003

** version:: Windows Live Mail       Version 2012 (Build 16.4.3528.0331)      installed about    18April2014

** I tried to "repair" the install for windows essentials but that didn't work.

Windows live sync is installed version  14.0.8117.416 installed 18May2010 , but won't repair ..  it says the   installation source is not available :  WindowsLiveSync.msi

Using Windows Live Mail Version 2012 (Build 16.4.3522.0110)

New Mail Notification Sound is triggered EVERY time windows live mail checks for new email and there is unread email in my Inbox

Doesn't matter whether there is new mail or not and it is getting far too annoying now.

Windows Live Mail not displaying images in emails

I have Windows Live Mail Version 2011 (Build 15.4.3555.0308) and for the last couple of weeks it has stopped displaying images in html emails.  I just get a black box with a black square and a white cross within it, next to a hyperlink to the content online.

This happens with safe senders and I have unchecked both security options relating to displaying images but it made no difference.

What is new in Windows Live Mail Version 2012?

Can anyone tell me what is new in Windows Live Mail Version 2012 (Build 16.4.3522.0110) which was downloaded and installed on my computer today, 19-Feb-2014? Or where to go to find out? I am interested to know if any of the ongoing issues that have been plaguing WLM have been rectified, and/or what may be new/improved features.

Links striped out when copy from one email to another using Windows Live Mail

WLMail Problem
 
I am running Windows 7  and Windows Live Mail Version 2012 (Build 16.4.3508.0205)
 
My problem is, I cannot copy Hyperlinks from a Rich Text email and Paste to another Rich Text email, as after pasting, the links are stripped out.
I also have different size and colored fonts, as well as yellow highlights. This Rich Text is working, just the underlining links are striped out.
 
I noticed this right after I attempted to shut down the computer and it wanted to do an update before doing so. After the update and restarting the computer, I noticed this problem.

I have tried the repair Essentials option as well as uninstall and reinstall. They did not help.
 
Can you help with the Copy/Paste problem?

multiple email copies in windows live mail

I have Windows Live Mail version 2012 (build 16.4.3508.0205) running on Windows 8.1.  I have 4 email accounts downloading to this program, 2 Gmail accts and 2 earthlink accts.  All are pop accounts.  I am getting dual copies of some emails, but it is not consistent.  It does not happen on all emails but it does happen in all the different accounts on a seemingly random basis.  How do I stop this?

I am using Windows Live Mail Version 2011 (Build 15.4.3555.0308).

I've just had my computer repaired. Namely, my old hard drive was about to die and so I had an image created of it and put onto a brand new hard drive.

Now when searching for messages in Windows Live Mail, I receive the following message: 'Search results may be incomplete while Mail scans your messages.'

Furthermore, no search results appear.

I suspect that this is some kind of indexing issue.

Could someone please help?

Windows Live Mail – Catagory bug

I am running windows 7 Premium version 6.1 *Build 7601: Service Pack 1),

and use Windows live as my email tool: Windows Live Mail Version 16.4.3508.0205 *

I have downloaded the latest windows essentials,

I am current on all  Windows updates

 

My PC:

2.40 gigahertz AMD Phenom 9750 Quad-Core

8192 Megabytes Installed Memory

NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT [Display adapter]

ST375063 0AS SCSI Disk Device (750.15 GB)

 

 

I have several hundred contacts, so I have set up categories. 

 

 

I use my Hotmail as my mail email default program, though, I do have other email accounts in Widows Live:

 

I have found that the category tool does not work the same each time I log on. when I add my category to my email TO:  box and hit the "+" sign, I get only a few, the first 8 to 10 names in my category ( my category has 48 names) 

If I reboot, and then I find that it only shows the last 8-10  of 48 names in my category, different than the first time I logged in?

 

When I  check the contact list the category shows all 48 names.

 

I have read thru all the comments in your forum and I do not seem to be alone in this issue.

 

I have also tried your suggestions of uninstalling, and reinstalling the Windows Live tool, as well as using the "repair" process in the uninstall/Change box in Control Panel.

 

I have also found that if I use the Admin, Task manager, and shut down windows live, on occasion, it will resolve the issue, but only for a little while.

 

I use this as a business tool, and am very frustrated, this seems to be getting worse, not better.

Missing Folder

Hi, I am using Windows Live Mail Version 2011 (Build 15.4.3555.0308). One of (at least) my folders is suddenly missing. How do I search for and recover the missing folder? I don't have an option 'Folder Pane'.
