"Blocked" sender and/or domain is a misnomer.  E-mails are not blocked.  They are either routed to the spam folder or automatically deleted.  Using Windows Live Mail 2011, are "blocked" e-mails routed to the spam folder or automatically deleted?

A number of emails repeatedly get shunted to my spam folder. I can't add their domain only, because spam messages do come from their domain. How can I add only their email address to a whitelist of approved senders whose emails won't get sent to spam?

Thanks!

Brett
Hello,

5 hours ago, I selected my spam folder like I do every day and clicked on "empty folder". Instezad of deleting my spam, it deleted my Inbox with over 15yrs worth of mails...! Is there a way I can get a backup or restore anything? This is really bad for me!

I'd appreciate any and all help.

Regards,

Rémy
I'm having strange situation...
I have configured my ISP email account to forward all messages to outlook.com account and I noticed that I don't receive all messages in Inbox or Spam folder.

Right now I purchased something and paid via PayPal but didn't received any order confirmation or PayPal reciept.

A friend sent me some mails few days ago which I also didn't get but I didn't believed him until he showed me his sent folder, but now I'm sure there is something wrong here.

I don't have any active filters and my ISP mail account is configured to unconditional forward.
Even PayPal service address is whitelisted.
This setup worked just fine with GMail so far.

Any thoughts, ideas???

Regards,
Karlo
I have a private email server for my church. No matter what I do, everything I send from this server goes straight into the spam folders on outlook and hotmail and everywhere else. Except for gmail.

Why is my church email going into everyone else's spam? Is there something I can do to fix this on my server or what?
Hello,

Since 2 days I'm having a problem with emails that are send to hotmail accounts from any email account of my server from different domains.
When I send an email to some hotmail account, the destination account didn't receive the email.
I looked for the email in the Spam folder, but the email isn't there.
The sender didn't receive any email error notification,

The server informs, that the email was sent successfully

For example this is one part of the log of my server

2013-08-10 20:44:55 1V8Iq5-00016x-R4 => *** Email address is removed for privacy *** R=dkim_lookuphost T=dkim_remote_smtp H=mx1.hotmail.com [65.54.188.72]
2013-08-10 20:44:55 1V8Iq5-00016x-R4 Completed

This email didn't arrive to the inbor or spam folder.

I don't know what i must to do to resolve this issue.

Yea, yet another one of these reports, and repeatedly telling the system "this isn't spam" takes no effect, they are still ending up in my spam folder.

What's so hard about designing a proper spam filter?

Same sender sends me the exact same message to my other online email accounts, and they don't end up in the spam folder, why just here?
Hi

I am getting emails claiming to be from Microsoft saying I need to verify account details or my account will be suspended. [Nothing to verify when I checked] now they are saying I need to up-grade my account or my account will be suspended in 48hrs. However, these go straight into my spam folder and carry the usual Outlook warning messages for suspicious emails. How the heck  do I find out if these are really from Microsoft and if so, why does Outlook identify them as spam? Thanks

in Microsoft smart data network the ip address of the mail server is not blocked by is stated as bot like behavior and all our email are sent to spam folder any help please?

Thanks

Just purchased a new mac. Purchased Office 2011 w/Outlook for Mac. Followed the automatic hotmail install instructions. Regular email is downloading fine. I can send and receive without a problem.

The problem is that email that is going into the Outlook (online) spam folder is not being downloaded to the Outlook on the Mac. Have any of you guys heard of this problem or seen a solution anywhere?

Thanks for your help...
