What will happen to Hotmail in March 2013 when MSN dies and is replaced by Skype?
Will Skype integration also include Hotmail accounts, not just contacts.
I love my Dad dearly, but he has a bad habit of frequently trying to start a chat with me. Today I just migrated my Live Messenger to Skype. I'd like to add my Dad to my Skype account, because it would be nice to have a vide chat with him, but is it possible
to appear off line to some Skype contacts, but appear online to others?
i downloaded a merge of messenger and skype, now i cant access messenger,have lost mail notification ,instant messaging notification,i an access mail through the hotmail site but will not know when i receive a mail as there is no notification any more, messenger shortcut on desktop no longer works
i have alot of stuff connected to my hotmail account. will i still be able to use my hotmail? or do i have to start changing everything if i dont decide to go to skype? after march 13th.
I've logged in to Skype using my Live account and all my Live Messenger contacts were properly imported.
Some of them are Live Messenger contacts and some of them are Yahoo Messenger contacts and I can properly IM with them using Live Messenger or the Live Messenger web page.
However, I cannot send them instant messages using Skype. Any IM sent to them is not displayed to them and they always appear to me offline.
What can I do to be able to use Skype to send IM to my Live and Yahoo Messenger contacts?
I updated skype to version 6 yesterday . This morning i was invited to a group chat by a colleague using messenger. I never got the invite but i was listed in the group chat on her box. Worse, Skype 6 deleted Messenger from my box so there was no way
for me to join the chat. when i tried to join the chat on my phone, the phone client could not see the group chat either. Is this a bug in the integration or do i need to enable something on my end?

How come I cannot log in to Skype after migration? It says “Sorry you cannot sign into Skype with your Microsoft account because you do not meet the age limit requirement"
