Any help will be appreciated.
Hi folks,
I've read earlier threads on this issue and followed all the steps (opened up in other browser, and in private etc) and found one solution briefly worked (typing /university details in my case it's a .ac.uk account) but that no longer works now.
Here's the problem:
I try to log into my outlook university account (which is not and never has to my knowledge been a 365 account) in the normal way and I get the following message
***You're currently signed in with an Office 365 email account, which can't be used with Outlook.com. Please click here to sign out of your Office 365 account, then use another Microsoft account to sign in to Outlook.com (for example, your hotmail.com, live.com, or msn.com account)***
When I click the 'here' button it just goes back to the above message.
Now there are some very important mails in that account and I need to be able to access them...I saw on one of the earlier threads on this issue that microsoft are aware of the issue and are working on a solution but this is going on a very long time from what I can see and still NO SOLUTION??
I'd appreciate it if someone could help me out here as I really do need to be able to open this account.
Thanks!
For some reason when i send email from my outlook account to gmail account in the upper right side it shows a photograph of mine that is propably taken from a social media like Instagram or Facebook.
i've searched but i couldnt find any solutions to remove it.
i olny tried to to do this: i went on More Email Setting-> Reading Email->content from third-party networks and i choosed Dont show public content from third-party networks but nothing changed.
What can i do to hide or delete my personal photo?
Note that its not my outlook photo as i said before its propably taken from a social media.
Thanks for your time.
Hi All
Can't access my outlook account, password not accepted although it is the correct password. Have had a link sent to me from Microsoft but when I click on the link what comes up is 'There's a temporary problem', this message has been showing for a number of weeks now and doesn't show any signs of changing. Is there any way I can access my account given these circumstances? All help gratefully received, many thanks.
Hello,
I am having problems replying with my company email with my outlook account.
Let's say for example:
Outlook email account: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***
Company email account: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***
From my company's website, I have already configured my company email so every time a customer sends an email to *** Email address is removed for privacy ***, it goes straight to *** Email address is removed for privacy ***.
However, how can I reply to the customer using *** Email address is removed for privacy *** instead of *** Email address is removed for privacy ***?
Should I:
-add an send-only account
-add an send-and-receive account
-or create an outlook alias (I guess this would not be convenient since I will have to create an outlook.com email....)
-etc..
I still want to be able to use my *** Email address is removed for privacy *** for personal use and want my recipients to see *** Email address is removed for privacy *** when they email me directly at *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. I only want my recipients to see *** Email address is removed for privacy *** whenever they email me at *** Email address is removed for privacy ***.
I hope this is clear and thank you for you answers!
I own a holiday property which has a submission form for enquiries. This was always linked to my Hotmail account. In the past 6 to 7 weeks, this process has stopped. My friend who built the site and hosts it through 1&1 in the UK, also tried to use his Hotmail / outlook account to no avail. He then used his gmail account and enquiries came through.
can I ask
1) has there been a change in Hotmail / outlook preferences since the Hotmail / outlook switchover.
2) Why can I get enquiries arriving at a gmail account but not Hotmail / outlook.
I have no error messages. Clients who have called after no response from me say they are loading info on the enquiry form with no error response and I have submitted myself with no error code at the website end. I get nothing in my junk folder either.
Is there a simple solution or do I require to switch to another e-mail provider? There has been no alteration to my website over this period.
regards
Graham
