HELP I cant even download Movie maker

Help please.I cant download Movie maker from this website
At first.I download it and it works well.After a while.I wanted to make a video and it was Black screen.Sooo
I tried to Unistall first i unistall the Window essentials and I delete the Whole file of Window essential and..
When i want to reinstall..I downloaded the setup and downloaded The whole thing again
Somehow the Window movie maker didnt appear And..I cant even find the Window essential on Programs and features.So i cant even uninstall a single thing from Window essential..
Well my first thought on how to fix is Search on google and try to find my answer..
Well all somehow didnt work out So my only plan on to fix this is
To reformat the whole comp?
And im writing out this so I MIGHT Get another Solution Other than reformating the whole computer.
So yeah Pleaseeee help!!!
I really want to continue Making videos in youtube i dont wanna Give up yet!
I have no idea how to explain any further more i dont know what else to say..
Anyways when i use the Setup.It says Uninstalling program?
I checked all over again NOTHING HAPPEN None of the stuff uninstall and
Nothing was install too.

Movie maker causes sound to stop working on all open applications

I'm attempting to open and play a movie (WMV format) in Movie Maker.  When I import it and press play, I get a brief scratchy sound, and then nothing.  Sound also stops working on other applications (e.g. Chrome, which was playing a YouTube video).  When I closed Movie Maker and restarted other applications, sound was restored.  This happens every time I attempt to edit a video.  I'm running Windows 8.1 with the most recent version of Windows Essentials.  Any thought on what could be causing this?

at the beginning and end of every clip i put on the movie maker it has a delay of about 1 second, it has no sound and it just pauses on the frame it was on. does anyboby know how to fix this?

I'm having a problem with movie maker I created a video with pictures and text. I can see the video in the movie maker but when I up load it to you tube, vimeo and flicker the screen is black but I can hear the music in the video but I can't see the video the screen is black. Can someone please help?

What version of movie maker and how can I get it back?

I had a version of movie maker, not blue, and it had the ability to change the duration of photos & audio for each photo.  What I did not like was not being able to randomize the transitions.  I updated and lost the old version and now cannot use the live version to edit my projects.  Do you know what version it could have been and Where can I get this version version?

I'm a first time user of windows live movie maker 2011 that's on my laptop running Windows 7 Home.  I want to update to 2012 but cant find any update option online. So if I download live movie maker 2012 is that considered updating it?  And if I do that will I loose the videos I have on 2011?  Thanks.

Most clips in a movie project turned black and have no audio – others are just fine.

After creating a 20 minute movie, and closing movie maker -- upon re-opening the program/project, most of the clips are blank. No video or audio. The source files remain untouched on the disk. The other clips play just fine. The source files play just fine using the built in default metro movie player.


The clips that do not play all have either anti shake or anti shake & wobble applied. The clips with neither of those filters applied seem to play just fine.

Created a movie in movie maker, then when added to a bigger project it reformatted the smaller movie – now can’t use.

I created a small movie and saved it as both a project and a finished movie.  Then, not 10 minutes later, I went to add the small movie into a larger movie I was doing.  Movie maker insists on reformatting the smaller movie, but when it does, it moves the captions so they no longer match the correct pictures.  It shouldn't need to reformat when I created it in movie maker to start.  I can't correct it in the larger movie, but I can't use it either because everything is off.  How can I correct this problem?  I have spent way too long putting things together to not be able to use it! 

movie maker 2012 will not play video clips

We recently upgraded to movie maker 2012 on a dell laptop running windows 7.  Movie maker 2011 had worked fine but 2012 will not run any video clip form any disc location.  It appears to have crashed before and opens each time with a message saying it can recover the last project.  No matter whether we say yes or no, the program does not work.  After this happens I find that movie maker.exe is using high proportions of CPU capability - 25% or multiples of 25%.

 

Any ideas how I can make this run as the old version was good and we wanted the improved functionality that 2012 was supposed to give.  I will go back if I have to to the earlier version.
