movie maker error

been using microsoft Movie Maker for a while now ive made easy 200 videos on it , excellent fre software.

anyways i uploaded photo gallery last night excellent free software as well !!

but i just tried to do a video as i normally would on MM and it through up an error , i retried 3x once after a reboot

and everytime i get the same error .  ( error - ox 80070057 )

My movie maker is not starting.An error is displaying to check all requirements for movie maker.

My computer system's detail is as below..........................

Manufacturer:Toshiba

Processor:Intel(R) Core(TM) Duo CPU T2350 @ 1.87GHz

RAM:1.00 GB

System type:32-bit O.S.

Can I add more animations/transitions to movie maker?

I am looking to add more animations to windows movie maker.  I would like more options (most importantly 'snapshots' which is on my apple tv and my wife's Mac.)  Is there a download somewhere i can add this stuff with (that's safe).  I see a few 3rd party software but they all want to downgrade movie maker to a vista version and i avoid anything that says vista...

Transitions in Windows movie maker

Hi there,

I don't know what is the problem with the transitions.

I used to work a lot on movie maker without any problems.

After formatting my pc and reinstalling WMM,

I've got this problem:

When i first add photos , i can add transitions, but if i try to add any other photo or edit any thing, i lose all the transitions.

Help! Movie maker wont open

Hi, my daughter has a school project where she had to make a book trailer using movie maker, she created it on a laptop at school using windows 7 and saved it to her USB drive brought it home worked on it at home on her laptop which uses windows 8 saved all her work and took the USB back to school next day and now can no longer open it at school, she gets a error message saying something about file may be corrupt or is in use on another computer. We have tried renaming files, saving it to computer and emailing to herself instead of using her USB drive and still gets the same error at school but works fine at home and she has to present this movie in a few days at school if anyone knows of any possible solutions please let me know. Thanks

I updated my movie maker and now it is not working. I can not even get it to give me an error about opening it just doesn't open.  I have run all the updates and still nothing. I tried to uninstall windows esstinal 2012, but it does not let you but it does let you repair it,  now I am getting this error:

It used to work perfect for me. NOw its horrible because it wont open and I need it ASAP!! !please help!

Why does .vob file play in Windows media center but is not recognized in movie maker?

I am on Windows 7.  Other .vob files have played in Movie Maker.  Windows media sees and plays the .vob files in their entirety. Yet I get does not recognize the file in movie maker.  Help.

After burning a DVD with DVD maker, picture size to narrow, Aspect ratio?

I have no problem creating a photo show (slide show) with window movie maker, to burn a photo show with DVD maker adding a menu no problem, watching preview, menu and photo show ok. However after burning and viewing the new DVD on my PC or DVD player all images (picture size) are to narrow. I used the movie maker and DVD maker many times before without a problem. With Roxio no problem burning a DVD.

I created a movie with pictures, video and music.  Everything is perfect when viewing it in movie maker.  When I "Save Movie" with "Burn DVD" as the settings, it goes through the whole process of encoding, finishing, burning, etc.  When I view the .wmv file in windows media player on the same computer or try to view the dvd, everything is just black.  The audio and music play fine -just no pictures or video!!! 

Please help!  trying to get this done for a sports banquet tonight!!!

MOVIE MAKER VERSION BUILD 16.4.3522.0110  APPLE Imac 24 ,by bootcamp installing WINDOWS 7 HOME PREMIUM.

BLACK OUT WITH FLICKERING PORTION LASTING FOR 1 SEC AT BEGINNING OF PLAYBACK OF EDITED VIDEO. LOADING *MP4 OR *.MOV VIDEO CLIP IN MOVIE MAKER, EVEN WITHOUT EDITED, SAVED AS  *.MP4 FILE. THE SAVED FILE ALWAYS HAS THE ABOVE NUISANCE PORTION AT THE BEGINNING OF PLAYBACK.

UNINSTALLED MOVIE MAKER THEN RE-INSTALLED,FOR SEVERAL ATTEMPT, THE PROBLEM STILL EXISTED.

  IN ANOTHER COMPUTER,SAME WINDOWS 7 VERSION,SAME MOVIE MAKER VERSION, NO SUCH PROBLEM.
