hi I am interested to know if there is a message history for messenger kept with microsoft , in the same way that cell phone companies keep text messages. I had conversations with an individual via messenger that may now prove to be evedence...

these conversations took place on a computer that I no longer own so I do not have them in local storage .

thankyou

I was using the messenger in outlook to chat with a specific person and lately i noticed that if that person left me any messages when i was offline i could see only the last message when i logged in.So i was looking around to see what happens to the rest of the messages and after of some searching i seen that when i go to skydrive tab and go to the messenger from there not only i could see the missing messages but i could also see my chat history with that person for like 2 months before and that is until i was tired of scrolling up.
So i wonder since the whole message history is saved somewhere and im sure its not in my computer cause i use many computers and not just one if there is a way to get the whole stored history of my messenger so i can see since when it is saved.

Dear Ma'am/Sir

I cannot view my messaging history ever since hotmail has become outlook. I went on managing account as told by one of your experts but under this I could not find anything name Messaging history. Kindly please help me to enable my message history,

Thank You
Mona

I recently got a windows 8 phone. Even though I am really enjoying it I have a small issue. When I send messages (not email) though outlook I cannot delete the message history on my home PC in the side pane of outlook.com. No matter what I delete the messages remain on the side pane on my home PC. On my phone they are gone and in the message history they are gone. Is this a bug?

Also please note the message history is empty. That part I figured out. Its just that stupid side pane on the website that still keeps the conversations.

I get a message and click on the reply button. I write it and send it to the recipient. The message reaches its destination but I get a copy in my inbox and the annoying thing is that it shows my name and the whole message history. For example, I get a message from Peter and reply to Peter. Immediately, I get a copy and Peter is changed to my name in the inbox. Can you please help?
