Cannot access or empty Junk Mail folder or Draft. This sucks. What is going on? Yes, I've cleared my browser's cookies and temporary internet files. They are not causing this issue. I've NEVER had this problem until I was converted to Outlook.com, without my permission or knowledge. Total ****. I need to be able to access my Junk and Draft folders. What is the solution? And, don't blame it on anything other than Microsoft's problem/error.  I cannot logout because everything freezes as soon as I login. This has never happened with Hotmail. This has only happened when I was converted to Outlook. Horrible customer service. Ugh.
Are their plans to add a new Outlook "Instant Action" to move messages directly to "Blocked Senders" so we don't see the emails in are junk mail folder anymore. My filter is set to exclusive but I continue to get junk in my junk folder that is obviously junk and I want to block them completely however, the process is cumbersome to add the address manually to te "Blocked Senders" list and an automatic "Instant Action" would be optimal. Thank you
Help,
How can I get mail that I accidentally deleted as junk mail in junk mail folder?
Thanks,
Trina
I went to the deleted folder and did not see any "recover mail" or any thing mentioned in the posts.

I am trying to find my junk mail folder in my outlook.com account.  I am being sent emails but not able to view them because they are (I believe) getting forwarded to the hidden junk mail folder.  My account use to be part of family safety via a parent account and had limited permissions.  The limited permissions have been removed and the option to manage rules or see the option to do so are still not visible.  We (my father and I) have tried to edit the permissions but are unable to do so (They are greyed out).  If someone could look at my account and reset it to a default/general email account this would be great.  I can send details with a private response as needed.  We have both tried to edit permissions logged in as my father's account and mine.  Seems like the account is stuck as a restricted view type.  My younger sisters have access to all fo their features.  Please help.
Is there any way to automatically block/delete emails that contain the word LINKEDIN from even going into my junk mail folder? I'm getting 1 to 2 spam messages a day. All are from different senders. Each email has a different address. Each states I have a message from someone or someone is trying to contact me, etc. They are all sent under the LINKEDIN banner. I have added them all to my block list, however the emails keep on coming in under different names and email addresses.

An internet search reveals that many people are complaining about the same thing and LINKEDIN is unresponsive. LINKEDIN is supposed to be a professional business organization where members of various business can stay in touch. I unsubscribed from it quite awhile ago as it was worthless. The unwanted emails [spam] keeps on coming.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

How do I use mail, new to this having trouble emptying contents of junk mail folder instead of doing each message at a time, very time consuming, I'm older and don't have that much time, grin.    Can one fill up the screen with e mail instead of two other columns in the way ?

Why is it that 50% or more of my "Junk" mail has an address of Hotmail.com? Since the Sender changes the Hotmail address daily it is impossible to stop. The only solutions I can come up with are:
1. Creating a rule to send all Hotmail addresses to be deleted before getting into my Junk Mail folder, or
2. Deleting my Live.com account.
If all these spam/phishing addresses are using "Hotmail", it cannot be safe?
When I click on my junkmail folder, I get a message that reads:There is a problem with the Office database. To use the database, you must rebuild it using the Database Utility. It then goes on to describe what the Office database is for. Once this message comes up, Outlook freezes (beach ball spinning). It gives me the choice to either cancel or rebuild. If I click "cancel" it closes Outlook completely. I haven't clicked "rebuild."

This only happens when I open the junkmail folder, otherwise Outlook appears to be operating normally. I'm concerned that one of the three emails in the folder is perhaps a virus?

Edit: just noticed that a block of time has disappeared from outlook meaning that emails that were received and responded to yesterday afternoon have completely disappeared from my system.

I'm using Outlook for Mac 2011, version 14.3.1

Thanks!

Can Hotmail stop junk mail that I mark as phishing scam? My junk mail folder accumulates a dozen junk mails each day, it is mostly **** related from f*book. I mark it phishing scan but it continues. I do not want it coming into my junk mail folder in the first place.
