Trueswitch no longer transfers files from one Hotmail account into another. I want to close out one of my old Hotmail email addresses and move a folder of saved emails into my other Hotmail account before I close it out.
How can I get that done?

I am having problems adding my hotmail account to my new iphone 5. My hotmail account is approx. 10 yrs old and was working fine with my old old iphone 2 wks ago. All my mail and mail folders were syncing fine.
I have tried adding the account via the Hotmail, Exchange and other mail settings on my new iphone. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling it several times.
It will not sync all my mail. It starts sycning at a random date in 2010 and never finishes syncing. It will work when I sync only to one month but this is useless for me - I need at least one years worth of emails.
Can you please advise.

I can not download any attachement from my hotmail from any PC but I can if I use other email such Yahoo.
there is a display message say(internet explorer blocked this website from displaying content with security certificate errors.
Hi, for the last 3 days i have been facing lot of issues while using hotmail (pop) on my Nokia E5. Everytime i try to add my email the process works fine..till i get a message saying " this email address is associated with your nokia messaging account....."
and it asks for the password( Nokia Messaging Account Password).
When i enter the password, it still asks for the same.. again and again.. till it says.. we cannot connect to your Nokia Messaging Account, your email address has been set, but you will have to check it manually"
I want my hotmail to be set automatically (refreshes automatically for sending and receiving emails) as it was before.
I tried to reset the phone, updated the password of NMA etc.. still problem persists.. its very frustrating....

I just set up my hotmail account on Outlook on my mac, and my mac is downloading the mail but only from the last 2 days..
I would like the mac to download all my mail from my Hotmail account.
How can i make this happen?

I use hotmail as an anonymous email to avoid getting spammed on my work/personal email.
Now, though they want me to provide mobile number for this "security" thing - and to my horror they had my mobile in the drop-down list.
I don't trust these organisations, and I am a bit worried about how they got my mobile number. No wonder I get spam texts and calls now.
I am going to migrate to mail.com.
If I set up a forwarding rule in hotmail to help me migrate to mail.com, will it eventually expire - do I need to keep coming back to hotmail to keep it alive?

I am an irregular, but long-time Hotmail user. When I attempted to log in to my Hotmail account today, I discovered that my account was changed to an Outlook account and all of my Hotmail emails are gone. They are not to be found under "Archive" or "Recover Deleted Messages".

I have used Hotmail as a secondary email account for some time now and never had this problem. Furthermore, I have used my Hotmail accounts for correspondence since 1999 and have some very important communication in my email archive. Who do I contact to recover my old emails?
I see that this question was asked before. Those discussions are locked. I need a personalized answer to my concerns, not some automated form letter.

My Hotmail account has suddenly lost the ability to save download attachments - documents/photos/anything to either my pc or my laptop. I've tried my daughter's Hotmail account and it works fine so it appears specific to my Hotmail account rather than to the pc and laptop.
I get this message:
"The security certificate presented by this website was issued for a different website's address.
I was concerned a while ago my account had been hijacked as I was receiving emails from my email address for Viagra and the rest into my spam folder - not from me! I've reset my password countless times, run Malware Bytes as well as the Microsoft programme to sort this out but have since received another email from myself that I have not sent. Also I now have the problem with the security certificate and not being able to download documents/photos - really need to be able to do this as I'm freelance and use my Hotmail account massively for work.
Help please, very gratefully received.

We have a a Motorola Droid that displays Inbox, Sent, Outbox, Trash, but no subfolders I created. Verizon told us that, while Motorola's system will not display Hotmail folders, Samsung's will. It's important to me that I can access subfolders. We're
about to purchase new phones and I;d like to verify whether this is true. Are there certain cells where Hotmail's app allows viewing subfolders or is this a pervasive problem with the Hotmail app? Thanks!!
