When I used to have TDS e-mail, I would just click onto the user sign-in line, and TDS would remember my address & password & automatically sign me in.  With hotmail, I have to type my complete address & password each time!  Even with Facebook, I just click onto my user sign-in line and it remembers my password & signs me in automatically....  I don't want to have to type my hotmail e-mail address & password each time I want to check my e-mails!  Is there another way for one-click sign-ins??

everytime i go on my hotmail to check my e-mail i have to put my e-mail address in and my pass word i even put a check in the small box

I have been told by on-line merchants that someone else has the same hotmail address. Is this possible

Hotmail account empty of all history and folders

I believe my Hotmail account has been compromised – (removed for privacy).

When I logged on recently my account looked like a completely new account. All I have is a welcome message from the Hotmail Team, and I have lost all my contacts as well as my correspondences for the past six years.

 

My questions are as follows:

1. How can I confirm my account has been compromised? And what can/should I do about it?

2. How do I get back all my historic correspondences and contacts?

3. Can I simply close this account and re-open a new account with all my historic correspondences and contacts copied across? How would I do this?

4. I am fearful that someone may be using the original account under my name. This I clearly want to stop immediately, will closing this account achieve this is there something else I need to do? I need to ensure no one is using my account and name without my permission.

5. Finally, how can I stop this happening to my new account?

6. Why and by whom has the account been closed?

Pictures imbedded in e-mail (hotmail) messages are blocked

Recently (past 2 weeks) emails with pictures have the pictures blocked. Has happened infrequently in past with the odd e-mail but now has occurred with all.

Hi all,

Having a problem connecting to Hotmail using Windows live Mail.

Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail (pjwoodrow) account.

Same problem for both email accounts so is there a fix that I can do or an update.

Putting contacts into groups

Since I purchased my new laptop with Windows 7, hotmail is different.  I do not see how to put my contacts into groups.
