My computer got corrupted. I had to re-install Vista. Saved what I thought was my email program Windows Mail. After re-installing I tried to take my old and re-install Windows Mail. I got it going but the saved folders and e-mail were lost. I want to know
the name of the file local folders are contained and where is it located? Also I want to know what files are needed to run Windows Mail and where do they belong? Such folders Windows Mail or en.

My first post in here, i do hope you can help.
I refreshed my email today and 3 weeks of emails just vanished in front of my eyes. I checked the deleted items and they weren't there. I have contacted my email provider and they have said that they are not on the server either. They said i must have deleted them, but i didn't.
I have no idea how they disappeared, is there any way of getting the emails back?
I'd really appreciate any help.

I want to re-subscribe to MSN dial up; however, microsoft does not recognize my computer and gives me a non-existent e-mail address to receive a code, so I cannot log into my current account. How do I fix this?
I linked my two email accounts. All the emails associated with the secondary account were deleted. If Microsoft has a practice of deleting email, why couldn't it have either merged the two accounts or notified me via email to my primary account about
its pending automated deletion of email associated with my secondary account? This practice is so unacceptable. How do I get my emails back? Microsoft's automated support just says "sorry, your email is permanently deleted"
I send the e-mail address of a dear friend to junk and then I proceeded to send all the addresses in my junk folder to blocked addresses. Will appreciate if you can let me know how can I access my block addresses list and unblock an individual address.

I used to get a little pop-up window and sound when an email was received. Since a Windows update a while ago it has disappeared completely. (Vista)
Received email saying my account will be closed if i do not reply with my name, password, country,birthdate...came from Windows Live Team ....is this a true email I need to respond to? addrss it came from was a personal one
