I've changed my old email account to a new outlook.com.... the contacts all went to the new account however they all appear offline. How do I solve this? Or how do I re-invite them?

Every time I write "i've" or "I'm" in an email the "v" or the "m" suddenly go into upper case and a bell sounds and I'm prevented from continuing to type any more characters. What's going on?
I upgraded to an @outlook.com email adress today, and seems like I can't connect using the standalone windows live messenger app anymore (I tried my old hotmail.com adress AND the new outlook.com adress).
I received a email asking for my name,email,and password to do a update or I wouldn't be able to use my hotmail can you verify if Microsoft sent this out or if it is junk.

I received a "FINALNOTICE" in my email from "MSN" asking for my user name and my password. I deleted it. YES????
I believe a booking confirmation found its way into my junk folder... I get so much that I must have missed it when I emptied the folder.
Is there any way to get it back?? I need to print the email to get into the event.. :(

I have been told that compacting my deleted email messages in Windows Live Mail completely removes them from the computer. Is this correct? And, if so, why is the word "compacting" used when it doesn't mean removal .... only squshing them.
