I am moving to a new computer and use a couple different emails including a Mac email, and a company exchange email.  I have saved emails into folders on my current system and when I brought up my new outlook - it quickly (okay, maybe not so quickly) downloaded my emails, but not my project folders.  My email system is pretty large and while I need to clean it up, I hesitate to do it before I figure out the best way to bring over my existing system.

I signed in when the email system was changed to the new format, and none of my emails are there.  I have looked through the forums and see this has happened to a lot of people.  This is really upsetting, as I have saved many emails over many years, some from family members no longer around.  

Some of the supposed possible reasons are inactivity, but I have signed into my account multiple times over the past 365 days.  My account has not been hacked.  For whatever reason it appears as though they just did not get transfered over.

How do I get these back?  The other messages on this topic have a hotmail person answering ,saying they will private message the person with the issue.  How do I get in touch with someone>????????????????

I have a new Macbook Pro and have installed Office for Mac 2011 and use Outlook as my primary email system.  All seems to be working well until the last few days when I have an error message come up every few minutes as follows

'Specified string literal length exceeds maximum supported string literal length' Error code 1026.

It does not appear to be preventing emails being sent/received, but there is no further detail as to what is the cause or solution of the problem.

Would appreciate any feedback or advice.

How do I fix this?

I changed several internet options and downloaded certificates and software to gain access to Army Knowledge Online (AKO), the army's email system.  After doing so, when I attempt to login to outlook, the screen flutters as if it is attempting to load or access for several seconds then returns to the login page but says "Something went wrong and we can't sign you in right now.  Please try again later."  3 weeks later and I still can't get in.
