Hi, after I set up an alias, I received a welcome message which read,

Here are a few tips to help you get started:
  • To send email messages from this alias, click on your address (above the To line in the message) and select your alias from the list.
  • If you set up a separate inbox folder for your alias, messages sent to the alias will go there. Otherwise, messages sent to your alias will go to your regular inbox.
How do I set up the separate inbox?

Cheers,

Hi

I am using Outlook.com for my company emails. The problem I am facing is that when I send email from it goes to my clients like *** Email address is removed for privacy *** on behalf of Attiq Khan instead of *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. This way my clients do not understand if email is coming from myside. Any solution to this issue?

When I open Windows Live Mail in windows 7 Everything after that winds up BEHIND the live mail program. Email messages, Internet explorer, etc.
It just happened today and I cannot fix it. I have rebooted several times and it still stays up front and until I shut it down everything is behind it.

I have outlook express 6.00.2900-2105 running in the XP SP2 environment.

I logged into my email inbox and email prior to 07/21/2013 but after 03/23/2012 is missing. But down in the lower left hand corner there is a box indicating their 15835 messages. The inbox indicates 3 new messages with just three pages of already opened email messages. Thus express has the messages buried but the inbox isn't recognizing those emails.

Any suggestions or helpful hints would of great appreciation

I have a constant stream of (the same 5) aparrently incomming messages appearing in my deleted items folder - as long as I am in Windows Live Mail 2011 they simply continue to pour in.

The Problem is on my PC (Windows 7 Home Premium SP1) as the messages continue to pour in after I empty deleted items and the problem continues even when I disconnent from the internet (and I do not have the problem when accessing mail from my laptop or smartphone).

No problems are detected by my ZoneAlarm Security Suite.

The problem appears to be a orruption of my installed instance of Windows Live Mail 2011.  How can I resolve this without losing my archived emails, contacts and calendars?

I have followed the various conversations here about the captcha problem with Outlook.com, and every one I've seen is complaining that the message demanding the captcha procedure does not stop after the correct characters have been entered -- the request keeps  appearing again and again.

My problem goes one better.

I get the request to type the characters in the image or record them from an audio file, but I get neither the captcha image nor the audio file.

The request just sits there, pretending to wait for the file I'm supposed to copy. I have no expectation that I'll get it in the next week or month or even more if I don't get it within, say, a day or two.

Which means I can't use the account.

Is there any way to goose this procedure along?

When I access Outlook Live I can see my email messages, but if I select an email to delete, I no longer see the menu that allows me to do it.  All I see at the top of the outlook screen is New.  If I press New to construct a new message, my contacts do not show at the side of the page as they used to.  Also, If I open the deleted folder, there is no option shown to empty the folder.  And finally, menu options that are showing do not respond.

I have started to get the following error message when I try to see my email messages from my Hotmail account in Windows Live Mail:

Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail.co (xxxxxxxxxxxxx) account.

Server Error: 0x80072EE7
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x80072EE7

Windows Live Mail is displaying all messages in all folders as an attachment rather than showing the message itself. In order to view the message text, you have to open the attachment. It is also forwarding replies to messages as an attachment.
