HI Community:

My question is about setting my outlook.com (hotmail) account's security with a password so that for anyone to reach my email inbox the password would need to be entered.  At sometime in the past I put my email account on an "automatic open" status.  I now realize that while that mode made it easy and quick to access my email inbox it was foolish from a security standpoint.  After much searching and reading the FAQ's I am still mystified.  It must be a simple procedure to reinstall the password mode.  Call me a dummy.  Help most appreciated.  It was hard to find this facility for answers.  I quess I just stay here and wait for an answer.  If you want you could also email any answer to:  *** Email address is removed for privacy ***.  Big thanks.
Hi All,
i have a problem that i cannot receive any email. i tried from yahoo and gmail to send to Hotmail.com in yahoo and gmail sent item i can see that the emails are sent. but when i open my hotmail account and  check the email inbox and junk i couldnot found the email.

i tried my friend email on same system and i can recieve email only on my in this current email address have problem
Any Idea?
My wife has a Nokia Lumia 820, as do I. About 20% of her incoming emails are received in both her Inbox and Junk and most of the emails are not junk. I do not have this problem with my account. Can you explain how to fix this for her.

Thanks

I can't sign into my inbox from my desktop and my email inbox on my mobile is not syncing.

Sometimes I can get into my inbox, but when I click on an email it won't open up and I get taken to the screen which says "There's a problem with Outlook right now" How long does this take to fix?

When I attempt to log into my outlook.com account, it says "You might have issues syncing emails to your mobile device." But I am not using a mobile device and I cannot see my email inbox.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

on the left side like u all know it says inbox and in bold it says 4- meaning they are unread messages. I DO NOT have any unread messages in any folders anywhere. this number 4 will not go away. I have cleared the cookies and cache and deleted browsing history but the problem persists.... why is this going on.... it wont go away. I am using internet explorer.
