My question is about setting my outlook.com (hotmail) account's security with a password so that for anyone to reach my email inbox the password would need to be entered. At sometime in the past I put my email account on an "automatic open" status.
I now realize that while that mode made it easy and quick to access my email inbox it was foolish from a security standpoint. After much searching and reading the FAQ's I am still mystified. It must be a simple procedure to reinstall the password mode.
Call me a dummy. Help most appreciated. It was hard to find this facility for answers. I quess I just stay here and wait for an answer. If you want you could also email any answer to: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. Big thanks.
