I tried changing my msn display name and when I sign in to my msn account, it's changed. But when I chat with my friends on msn, the display name is still my old one. I've been trying to change my display name for months now, but my friends see my old display name still.
Why do I only have a full name that is visible to everyone? Earlier I had a display name separate from my full name to protect my privacy but that is not there anymore?
My messenger account was hacked. The person changed my display name, picture and posted an obscene url link. It looked like a bot because it took 5 password changes to get rid of it. My profile looks like my name and picture are correct,
but friends tell me the name is still showing the one the hacker changed. I don't see it anywhere in my settings. How do I fix it?
