Hello, I have a certain address that I don't ever wanted sync'd to my Windows Live Mail. So in my Hotmail, I set up a filter with the option:

That did the trick. The message never reached WLM, even the Deleted Items folder. Starting 2 days ago, 4/15/14, I started getting new-message notifications in WLM and when I check, the new message is in "Deleted Items". This is what I was trying to avoid in the first place: new message notifications for deleted items.

Did something break in the past few days?

A minor problem but annoying to me.

When I drag emails from my Sent Messages folder to Outlook Folders on my computer it copies them rather than moves them which means I then need to delete the item from Sent Messages and then Deleted Messages. When I do the same on my Inbox or Deleted Messages it physically moves them to where I want them to go and doesn't leave the original message where I have dragged it from.

Is this a Mac issue?
This is the second time in three months that ALL of the messages in my Inbox disappeared.  Deleted messages are still there, but the Inbox -- NOTHING.  Even my flagged messages are gone.  The last time I asked for help, I received a link that didn't work, from an e-mail that didn't take replies.   I tried calling for help, but the tech was more interested in selling me an anti-virus program than finding my lost mail.  He claimed the problem was a virus in my Dell computer.  The only problem with that explanation is that I was using a MacBook when I lost the mail.  How can I retrieve the lost messages and keep this from happening again?
I'm using Google Gmail. Once I delete messages, they don't move from the inbox to the trash folder. They just hide and stay in the inbox. How do I get the deleted messages to go to the deleted messages folder?
Hello,
This week I stupidly synched my Hotmail to my Mac via the Mail feature. It's generally annoying and I want to delete it but it's deleted all my Hotmail mails. Hotmail has saved some in Pop folder, but nowhere near all of them.
Neither Mac Mail nor Hotmail seem to have my older Sent mails. What's going on? Surely they haven't been deleted forever?!
If anyone can help I'd be really grateful, there are some really precious mails missing.
Thanks,
Krin
Deleted messages are disappearing after about a week.  I don't want them to disappear ever.  Sometimes I need to look for older messages.  How change I change the number of days to keep old email to "never"?  I simply want them to remain in the "deleted" folder until I want to delete them permanently, not when Outlook decides to delete them.  As a professional writer, this has caused extreme problems with editors and it must be fixed.

Thank you.

Is there any way to request the hotmail team to retrieve deleted messages from my hotmail account from back in July '12?

Specifically, I'm looking for a facebook notification message that contained important information; unfortunetly I am unable to aquire this information through facebook.

My mistake, normally do forced delete on Deleted folder to keep clean, just did it on good folder.  Any way to recover messages recently deleted that have not been moved to Deleted folder?  This was just done on 12/26/2012.  Hoping to recover messages from Finances/ebay if possible.  The affected account is

 Thanks.
I just got a new mac and downloaded Outlook 2011. I have had the following issues

1) Outlook keeps syncing to the server. The files in the inbox will disappear and then start downloading all over again. This happens sometimes every few minutes. There is no set pattern.
2) Deleted messages dont sync to the server. So if i delete something on Outlook, when outlook resyncs with the server, it is there again.

I have tried -
1) Creating a new identity - did not help
2) Delete the IMAP account and set it up again - still nothing.

I had Entourage 2004 and it worked like a charm. Is this a mac thing or an outlook thing? How do I fix it!?
