I have recently installed office 2011 for mac on my macbook pro.. In outlook under "On my computer" I have my pst file for my last years emails.
I'm also running VM Ware Fusion in which I have office 2010 installed and I'm also mapped to the same .pst folder.
If I move items from my mac's inbox to that pst file they show up in the mac outlook but they do not show up on my vm outlook.
This seems like it should be straight forward if both outlooks are pointing to the same .pst file they should see the same info. Has anyone dealt with this before?
I have a hotmail alert on my email stating my Hotmail has been limited and asks me for my password, etc. I am suspicious and my computer person told me to delete. The sender has a msn.com name but not hotmail. There was a case number also listed and a
PP number. The frustrating thing is how to contact Microsoft and validate or not this email.
I have received others in the past and deleted them with no problems but of all I have received this one looked legit except the sender email address.
Have been using Office MAC 2011, off late my folders on my computer in Outlook and my accounts get deleted automatically, i have tried rebuilding but it does not stay much long. i am afraid of loosing my data and mails? please suggest corrective action
When I scan from my Hp Officejet using the "Image Capture" program on my Mac and choose the "scan to mail" choice, the computer chooses to use Mac Mail rather than Outlook 2010. Is there a way to make the computer scan to a pdf in Outlook rather than
a pdf in Mac Mail?

My iPhone 4s is jumping straight to my compose new mail page whenever I touch my inbox, junk box, and if I try to open a message and it only happens when I am in Pc site (hotmail) . It works okay on my laptop and my computer. I have had my iPhone over 4 months and it always worked great in pc site hotmail until three days ago. Help! Regards Cat x
I have a XP computer that I ran Outlook Express on for a number of years then upgraded to Window Live and Windows Live Mail, all without any problems. I recently bought a new computer and wanted to extract the WLM folders from the XP machine and transplant
them on the new Windows 7 machine or at least import them to the new machine.
I can only find the old Outlook Express folders that contain two year only mail. When I look in WLM, tools, option, advanced, maintenance, store Folder, on the XP machine, it gives me a location. When I go to that location it does not exist. How can the
program work? Better still where are the folders?
In folder view all the necessary boxes are unchecked giving me full view access to files and folders.
I need to resolve this.

I loaded Messenger from Windows Live Essential. I am using Windows 7.
When I first logged I could not speak to my contacts. I can now talk to them but when I wanted to change the sounds I find they are all named in chinese ! Nothing else on my computer is so why and how can this be resolved.

i want to use windows live mail again and am unable to do so. The update for windows live essentials 2011 does not complete. You can not remove it from computer. It has stopped windows live mail from working as well as the other programs, although
I do not use those programs, i would be happy with just the mail program back.
