With recent major problems with Yahoo!, I'm considering switching to outlook.com.  During my evaluation, I was able to successfully add an email address "alias" to my account (The alias is for Evernote) so I was happy about that.  When I went to Calendar though, the dropdown box for the reminder does not show this alias.  The dropdown box only has my hotmail email which is my main account address.  The alias I add was not added.  Now I was able to go back to my account settings and make my "alias" the primary and then my alias showed up in the dropdown box for the Calendar reminder, but that's not what I want to do.  I want my primary to remain as is and set the reminder on some Calendar items to the alias.  So my question is why isn't the alias showing in the dropdown box for the Calendar reminder and how do I get it there?  I will mention this is a very old hotmail account so if this is something just not supported from the hotmail switchover to outlook.com, I can abandon this hotmail account...I don't need to use it.
I have a default reminder time set for calendar events, but I don't get an alert reminding me of the meeting. It shows up in the list of reminders in Office Reminder app, but nothing pops up to alert me. Unlike in the Windows version I used previously.

The mailbox was converted (or transferred) from a Windows environment. I use Outlook in a corporate environment. Our techs say that functionality doesn't exist for Mac, but I don't believe it.

Thanks!

There is a fault with the Calendar Reminder icon link in Live mail ( Windows7, Google Chrome) it takes you to another link Go to Calendar?

Please can you advise how to overcome this problem?

Original tile: How to activate Calender on Lave Mail

On open Lave Mail page I can't make any entry for remainder my's tusks. Error show that Calender is dis activated Adder thing is that Contacts folder can't be open as well. I can entry contacts and use them sending email but **** open a page with contacs. I am using OS Windows 7, Windows Live Mail Lave, Email with "gmail. Any suggestion how to fix that?. Viciu_984

I have some links to notes in Evernote or Omnifocus. When I copy the link and paste it into the body of a Calendar reminder for example, some show up in color and underlined (so that clicking on them runs the appropriate program and opens the file) while others paste as plain black text and are not "clickable". What determines this? I want them all to be clickable. How do I make a link like

omnifocus:///task/lsMswqVSd78

paste as clickable link into Outlook?
100% operator error, I know. I was busy, in a rush, and had 40 or so reminders in the Reminders windows.

In a rush, I mistakenly clicked "Dismiss All" when I wanted to dismiss a single entry.

Most of the 40 were items I could dismiss, but about a dozen were not. The ones I needed to keep were events that came due far in the past, but that I kept hitting snooze on, as a way to remember them.

How does one find these "recently dismissed" events in the List view of the Calendar? I looked for a Modified column but found no such thing.

Can I instead find them on the hard drive? On TimeMachine?

Any tips or ideas would be appreciated.
