I inadvertently changed the birthdate on my account to 1/1/2013, and am now recognized as a child by Outlook. I had to establish another account as a parent to be able to log into my original account, I need to have my birthdate changed back to my original
birthdate to get full access to my account and to able to log into outlook on my cell phone. I cannot log in on my phone, because again, I am recognized as a child.
i didn't want my birthdate assocated with my account, so I went to change it, and it inadvertently landed on 2013...it is now a child's account so i can't get back in to change the birth date. I tried to open a new account and link them, but it has to
be verified, but of course i can't get back in without parental verfication. this is my PRIMARY account and i need to access ASAP.
i accidentally added today's date as birthdate for account.

I have received emails requesting personal information such as birth date and country of origin to keep my hotmail account open. Is this a requirement for hotmail account or is someone trying to get my information? Thank you.
I keep getting a request to update my username, password, birthdate, and country to keep my account, is this legit?
