My MSN e-mail account of 11-12 years vanished……

I have lost my MSN account (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***) of 11-12 years. I am professional / physician and this was my primary account. Now when I try to sign on my MSN e-mail address (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***), I get a message "That Microsoft account doesn't exist. Enter a different email address or get a new account."

I had several important documents and e-mail addresses, to which I cannot get access to.

Help me please.

How long before a hotmail account expires if it is not used?

I have a lot of junk mail so am currently not logging into my account. Accounts used to get locked after 60 days and then expired after 90.

I used to wait 3 months until the account expires and then create it again. This often deters some of the spam emails as they get "not valid" retaurn messages.

 

Does anyone know if 3 months still the period?

 

It is now 4 months yet when I try to create the account the email address is still not available to use.

Why isn’t my To field on a new message the same as my Contacts (People)? How do I fix this?

Changes made to People are not found in the TO contact list.  I now have to type in addresses, even though I've changed the contact in People the old address appears in TO contacts.

Have I been Hacked?

I was just contacted by a friend who says she got an link sent to her by someone using my Name but not with my email address. She contacted me to see if any other friends of mine had received this email or if I had given her email out to this person. Does this mean someone could have hacked into my email account and gotten my list of contacts? The email address they used to contact her with was a Yahoo address.

How do I add new contacts to my email contact list. New format won’t capture.

I went to People site, clicked on "new" and entered a new contact.and the contact's email address. Clicked on "save". Returned to inbox and attempted to forward an email to that contact, but name did not appear in contact list. I tried several times with no success. How do I add a contact to my list?
