I'm using Outlook 2011 with Exchange 2007. I can connect to the Exchange server and send emails, but I cannot download emails that are received to the Exchange Server. In the bottom right of my Outlook client, I can see the number of messages I have
on the server and I can see that they are "downloading", but when the download finishes, I don't see anything in Outlook.
Hello,
Would you please do two things:
1) When a Windows user of Outlook 2010 recalls an email message that arrives on a MAC client, make the function work. Today it instead provide two copies of the email (original plus one saying "recall") even when using the Outlook client on the MAC and even when the email has not yet been read.
2) Please provide a recall function for the MAC.
Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.
Scott
P.S. FYI: some more information on this: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/mac/forum/macoffice2011-macoutlook/email-recall-is-there-such-a-function-on-outlook/32be50c5-ee14-4e3b-8502-6886badf08e3?tm=1363015694424
I cannot locate the Outbox, and believe there is a large file waiting to be sent. I may have inadvertently deleted it.
This slows down the process of sending/receiving messages.
When printing an email on the Printer Options page and under "Page Options" "My Name" the name of a company I sent an email to appears and when I take it out put in my own name and select tick that box it will not take my name and the next time I go to
print an email that company name re-appears in the box. How do I correct this?
Today, 3/10/13, Daylight Saving Time started. I'm using a Mac with Outlook 2011 version 14.3.1 (130117). All of my applications are fine and other applications show the right time. Outlook Web Access to Exchange 2010 SP2 shows that the correct time
adjustment has been made on the server, at least through the webapp localization features.
My Outlook 2011 client is set to the correct time zone, in my case Pacific. Instead of it showing 10:00 AM as it is now, at the time of this posting, it shows emails that I send and receive at 11:00 AM (+2 hours standard time instead of +1). I changed
the timezone in Outlook east by one zone to try to manually offset this, but Outlook ignores this attempt to workaround the problem.
Is there a patch for this?
I used to archive my emails all the time in MS Outlook in order to keep my Inbox and Sent files manageable, but I'm having difficulty doing that in Outlook for Mac. I'm using Mac OS X version 10.8.2 on a new Macbook Air, and I'd like to be able to select
individual emails to archive. Any suggestions are most appreciated.
can the outlook calendar on a mac be sinked with the calendar on an android phone?
Office 365 for Mac basically is Office 2011.
My version of Outlook is 14.3.1
In the past, I have set my reading pane to be at the bottom of the screen.
I had issues with Googles error messages (like 1-2 every minute) that I had a email out there that was too large and to get rid of it I had to delete my Gmail account, rebuild my identity and then re-create my Google Mail account in Outlook.
Ever since I did that, I can create my reading pane and as long as I do not go to another Email account it works fine
But if I change accounts it goes away and I have to re-create it again.
I have closed Outlook with the reading pane there... but when I re-open the program it is gone.
Any suggestions out there to help me keep that reading pane where it belongs?
Thanks
Dunc
