I would like to delete all history in this laptop regarding my email account, and most important remove the auto sign in
Since the upgrade from Hotmail to Outlook... when I launch "www.hotmail.com" on my mac, it signs me in automatically without asking for password or anything. I am not the only one using this laptop and therefore my privacy is compromised.
I have loaded two email accounts into Outlook for Mac 2011.
They keep reverting to offline, down the bottom right hand corner it is telling me that my accounts are not connected.
How do I connect the accounts?
Thanks,
Lisa
Hi, I have just downloaded Office for Mac 2011 and I am trying to set up my email. It is a Gmail/Google Apps account. Previously on my pc it required GASMO to run. I am assuming that I dont need this on the Mac. I had the outgoing mail server as smtp.gmail.com
however it is not allowing me to send any emails.
Any suggestions?
My mail is coming in fine using imap.gmail.com
Thanks,
Lisa
In Entourage, the default email address for a recipient would be suggested first during composing. Outlook totally ignores this and seems (I haven't checked them all) choose the work address no matter what I have set in under contacts.
How can I get Outlook to actually chose the default recipient address which is what a default address is supposed to be?
Thanks.
Bill
Outlook:mac 2011 Version 14.3.4 - repeatedly comes up with message "... wants to use your confidential info stored in "pop3.xtra.co.nz" in your keychain. Do you want to allow?" I click "Deny", but it keeps repeating that request several dozen times each
day. Very annoying. How do I stop that?
So I upgraded to the Microsoft for Mac last night and was able to transfer everything over from my Microsoft Entourage. Everything went great could get into the program easily. Went to try today and check my email and I am getting an error message saying
I do not have sufficient permissions to access the files and now I can not get into my Outlook, this is a pain......
I have just bought my first Mac and struggling to work out how I change the colour of unread emails on Office for Mac? It's very simple on windows, but doesnt seem to be an obvious solution on the mac version?
I purchased Office for my new MacBook. The Excel, Powerpoint, and Word applications were installed without a problem, but when I try log in to Outlook it won't let me. It requires me to sign in with an existing account (my email doesn't work for some reason,
though I have Microsoft for my email too and the username/passwords are correct) or enter my product key (which doesn't work either, though I entered it correctly). Any suggestions?
For instance I have an 8MB file. When I add it as an attachment it is over 10MB so then it can't be sent because our limit is 10MB.
purchased office for the mac. entered key code. Excel and word are fine. however, outlook asks for key, and will not accept the key. ????
