Can I do this? At the moment I can only 'move' contacts between accounts. When I try to copy past them it gives me an error sound. I want to have a universal mailbox with everybody's contacts. And I also want everyone to still have their personal contacts.
The instructions provided in the support section regarding purchasing an upgrade key in order to install outlook 2011 does not work. I have no option to purchase from the menu as instructed, does anyone know of alternate way in order to purchase this "upgrade
key"
Hello all,
I recently upgraded my Outlook for Mac 2011 to the newest 14.3.6 version. I have been using the previous version for a couple of years now and had no problems connecting to my office server. Since the update, all I am getting in the lower right-hand
corner is Not Connected to "Server Name". All of the previous settings with my e-mail account remained unchanged, yet for some reason I am unable to connect to my office server now.
Any advice is greatly appreciated!
My iMac 520 hard drive crashed. I was able to get most of the data off onto a new 1 tb drive. I've reinstalled Outlook 2011 and copied the email folders out of the identity folder. I see my email folders but none of my incoming emails. I do see all of
my SENT emails. When I look at the Messages folder on my backup disk they appear in multiple folders 0-4K but now on my mac I only see folder OK. I've tried copying the folders individually and when it rebuilds, the emails do not appear in the folders. When
I click on one of my messages on the back up drive, I get the following pop-up "Outlook cannot open the file because it is not associated with the default identity." PLEASE HELP?

I undertsand this feature was not available ....any updates in the recent past ?
We just upgraded to new Macbook Airs with shiny new copies of Office 2011, and we use Microsoft Hosted Exchange.
Here is what is going on:
1) I click on a vcard link in Safari, which opens the new contact in Outlook.
2) I select the 'notes' tab under the new contact, and begin typing info.
3) Anywhere from 10 seconds to 1 minute later, WHILE I'M STILL TYPING (or staring at the screen thinking of what else to type), *POOF* - all of the text I just entered literally VANISHES.

We have repeated this on multiple computers.
It doesn't seem to happen when we create a new contact - just when we open a Vcard.
Is this something with Vcards? Something with syncing with the Microsoft Hosted Exchange Server?
HELP!!!! This is a DISASTER for our company...
G'day,
I've spent about an hour searching the forums and found bits and pieces of information but much of it is quite dated.
I have a Macbook Air running Mountain Lion OS, my company has an exchange server, and I use and Android phone (Android 4.1.2). I am an experienced Office user, but it has always been in a PC environment.
I am running Outlook for Mac 2011 version 14.3.6
I would like to be able to utilize Outlook for all emails, contacts, tasks, and appointments and synchronize all of the data between my Mac and my Android device.
Is there any way that I can do this via icloud, exchange, or google? Are there any third party solutions that will handle all of this? I am currently running a very piecemeal method requiring separate solutions for Calendar (BusyCal), Tasks (Wunderlist),
Contacts (Apple Contact), and Email (Outlook).
Help would be much appreciated.

I have the latest updated version of Outlook for Mac v14.3.6 and I keep getting the error:
Could not synchronize record: <my_calendar_event>
EndDate is earlier than StartDate
Error code -19982
It is associated with a calendar event that I have since deleted to try and resolve the error but it stills keep popping up. I am getting several of these errors every hour and it is very annoying!
I believe that my office is using a Exchange 2007 server if that helps..
Ewan
