Hi

I purchased Office Mac for Home 2011 from Amazon in the last three months and am interested how I would go about purchasing a licence to enable me to use Outlook for Mac 2011 as well as this was installed on my Mac at the same time but I simply don't have a licence.

Also how much this would cost. I am very confused by the different pricing structures etc.

Any help would be amazing.

has anybody got a clue as to why this happens and how to stop it from happening?  The folders have one or two mails in it.
Outlook emails are missing - both in stored folded, inbox and sent mail. At first it looked like a week of emails were gone. Now, I am missing older emails that were stored in folders. I tried reindexing but no luck - if anything, it made it worse.
Help!
how can you link the folders from outlook for mac to hotmail.com acct? i have it set up to delete from server when i delete on outlook but if i need to move something to a folder i have to log on to hotmail.com and do it there? is there a way around this by linking the two, you would think it wouldn't be that hard because it's already linked to delete when i delete just can't see other folders. prob just missing something on my part but any help would be appreciated.
My mac is slowing down and need to reduce the size of my outlook files. There are 40,000 items in it at the moment including some v large folders. Does anyone know how to archive the older messages so that they are easy to retrieve and then reduce the current file sizes. Thanks.

Hi All,

I hope someone can help. I have spent the past week rebuilding a clients MAC after a "perfect storm" of disasters whilst they were switching between hosting companies.

I'll try to keep things simple...

Using time machine I was able to restore the users mail from 2 separate backups. Everything works fine but the users Task / Calendar both appear as 2 separate folders on the left hand navigation page in Outlook.

Is there a way to merge the contents of both of these folders into Outlook itself so that everything is as it was before it went FUBAR ?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

Dave

outlook works and opens ok, just installed. when i go to add an account under tools-accounts it hangs up when i click add email acct and i have to quit it to get out of it. if i click add exchange acct it opens that but thats not the type of acct i have. i have read on here where ppl say make sure it's up to date but how do you do that? where do you go to update it?
I am installing OUTLOOK on a new MACBOOK PRO and OUTLOOK will not allow me to add an email account.  When I click to add a POP account it locks up.  If I wanted to add an Exchange Account it would allow me to.   If anyone has any thoughts on how to correct this I'd appreciate it.   I have already uninstalled OFFICE and reinstalled to no avail.

thanks,

Mike
I did not upgraded to Mavericks just to avoid this, but immediately after the automatic upgrading of iTunes to 11.1.3 my outlook is no longer syncing with Mac Calendar and address Book (and as a consequence does not longer sync with my phone)

I have tried everything, including downgrading the iTunes (which did not seem feasible after thousands of trials)
Could anyone help me? this is really frustrating -
