Hi,

One of my clients here at work is unable to see any contacts including the global ones.  We are on Office 365 and he can see all contacts in there.

I have asked him to add a new contact to his outlook client and see if it shows up on the cloud (Office 365) and it did.  I have also asked him to create on in the cloud and see if it shows up on hin client (Outlook 2011) and it did.  Even doing a search on Outlook 2011 returns with nothing.

I have rebuilt his Outlook profile but that didn't help either.  Any idea?

Thanks!

Slim

Im on an iMac using OS X 10.8.5. I've been using Outlook for Mac 2011 for almost a year with no problems on a hosted Exchange server (Network Solutions).

After a recent Microsoft update (14.3.9), Outlook crashed and had created a "recovered account."  Ever since then I can't access any accounts (Exchange or iMail) through Outlook Preferences (followed by Accounts) -- every time I try to do so the screen just freezes (I want to delete accounts that seem to have duplicated with the recovery).

I'm receiving/sending emails through the accounts no problem -- but as noted I have duplicate accounts now (with thousands of emails) and can't delete the duplicate accounts (or do anything else with them for that matter).

Any ideas?

Running Mavericks OS. Installed Office 2011 couple days ago.
Problem is with Outlook. When ever I get a new email my dock icon won't bounce. Not even once. With my old Entourage, icon used to bounce until I clicked it. I have it set to bounce in preferences Checked Bounce Outlook icon in dock but it doesn't work. I have display alert on my desktop checked and it does display alert but it displays briefly and sometimes I am away from computer when it does. I would love to get the dock icon to bounce until I click it like it did in Entourage. Thanks in advance for any help
Using Office for MAC 2011.

If I attempt to add an attachment to an e-mail from the desktop, once I've clicked 'Desktop' the system becomes unresponsive and eventually has to be alt-cmd-esc.

The same thing applies to saving attachments from an e-mail to the desktop - freezes up.

All other locations are fine.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Hi

I have the Outlook 365 on my iMac updated with Maverick bought in UK, used in Slovakia. When writing an email in Slovak language I do have a problem to spell check it since this language is not included in the Spelling and Grammar language options. Could you please help me, how to install the Slovak language into the list since I do need it every day.

I am also not able to find the spelling check option in the Word.

Thank you.

My HD crashed last month and has been replaced.  I restored all of my files from Carbonite.  My contacts and folders successfully restored to Outlook, however none of the messges stored in those folders were restored.

When I look on Finder, I can see the messages, attachments, etc.  When I click on a file it will not open "no associated".  I found what I think is the database but when I rebuild it, the rebuild cannot be completed.

Anyone have an idea?
Hello,

Since yesterday, I can't yield any results from searches in Outlook. I try and search for email in my inbox and each search displays "no result". Did anyone run into this problem?

Thanks,

F
Hi,
The other day my Outlook on my Mac crashed after informing that a rebuild needs to be performed. After reopening Outlook, I was prompted to reenter the email server information for both my mailboxes. After closing Outlook, I proceeded to run the Database Utility and preformed the rebuild process. It completed steps 1 through 4 and the began performing step 1 again. (i presume since I have two mailboxes: one is an Exchange mailbox while the other is a POP account). After reaching step 3 of 4. the Utility crashed. On observing the hard disk space after the crash I noticed that I had 0 space remaining. Before performing the rebuild process I had about 20+ Gb of space. The mailbox identity indicated that it was about 13 Gb. I assume that the Utility crashed due to lack of space. I am in the process of freeing up a lot more space and will then perform the rebuild again. My concern is that if after performing the rebuild again that the process would not be successful in removing my data. I would appreciate if anyone can help/guide me with any options or procedure that I can follow in the event that this rebuild is not successful.

Thanks!
