Hi All,

I am using mac pro with OS X version 10.9.2 and Outlook 2011 version 14.3.9.

When replying to an email, I noticed that the response email do not bring the original email headers (containing the original email sender email id and other email id's that were marked in the original email, timestamp of original email etc.. Any idea is it by design or Can I change this?

Regards,

Sethu

Hi All,

I am using mac pro with OS X version 10.9.2 and Outlook 2011 version 14.3.9.

I am having a few issues with the fonts while using outlook:

  1. I have created a default signature using Calibri font with size as 16. This is the default signature to be applied for all emails (new & replies). I use HTML format for all my emails. However I noticed that when a new email is drafted, all goes well and the signature looks good. However while replying to emails, I noticed for some emails the font changes to Times New Roman automatically and for some the Font Size Changes (font still remains as Calibri). I tried setting the default font, signature etc; but no luck. Any idea what could be the problem and how can I fix this?
  2. When sending an email from Mac, the users having a windows environment receive my email with different font sizes and formatting. Any idea what could be the problem and how can I fix this?

    Thanks in advance.

Sethu

So 2011 iMac, Mountain Lion, Office 2011 - all app versions are current.

Machine crashed. Opened Outlook after reboot and have apparently lost the last fortnight's worth of all data.

Used Time Machine to restore Outlook and it too opened to a 2 week old window.

Used MDbase Utiity to rebuild identity - - same thing - - Main Identity Date Modified option is two weeks old.

Tried early TM backup version - - same thing.  Following Data Records path for Messages folder brings up the last modified date of two weeks ago.

So does anyone have an idea how I can recover two weeks worth of lost messages, contacts etc?   I am at a loss as to what to try next.

I Just bought office 365 and activted on my mac,

auto configured with the exchange server for my company. all is well for the beginning, it downloads the latest emails first and procedes to download the rest, I can read those and send new ones however after this I do not get any more emails.

I tried deleting the account and readding, and nothing, same behavior ( I can't be adding and removing accounts all day long..)

somethign happened while I was deleting the account the first time the app started appering as "Not responding", so I force killed it, and reopnned it, at that time it redownloaded the emails.

thank you in advance for the possible help

I have emails redirecting to certain folders based on the subject line. When I get a new email in one of those folders, I don't get a notification (pop-up or sound). I checked the rules to see if there is an additional action I can create for showing the notification, but the only available options are "Copy to Folder, Delete, Forward To, Forward As Attachment To, Redirect To, Mark as Read, Prioritize, and Categorize." This is possible on the PC version of Outlook, is it not in the Mac version?

Hi, I have outlook 2011 and I am able to receive emails but I can not send them due to error spamhaus. My web host has removed my IP from the black list and it is still not working hours later. I spoke to century link and they are saying it is a microsoft issue. Can someone kindly help? I have tried everything.

Thanks, Wendy

Hello,

I have installed Office 2011 on MacBook Pro running OS X 10.9.2 but everytime I open Outlook it shows a window saying that it is upgrading identity. This takes an extra time and I don't have the same problem on other Mac computers or laptop that I also use MS Office 2011.

Can anybody help me with that?

Many thanks

Hi there

I am one of many people on this forum to raise this problem.  No-one seems to know what fixes it.  I am now unable to use Outlook, Word, Powerpoint and Excel which are all used by all my family for school work, business and personal.  Daily.

Anyone any idea what fixes it ?   I can login to my Office365.com account but not from the local login panel with the same details.

I have tried changing password, didn't work.

Thanks

Doug

Hi everyone,

I have a couple of email addresses and I created a repeating schedule so that Outlook would automatically receive the mail every 2 minutes. I've also just set up another account whereby I receive email in Outlook from my Google Apps account. I'm able to manually receive and send email from this account but when I tried to add the google apps account to the repeating receive schedule I wasn't able to. I clicked the Add Action button but then from the drop down menu next to the "from" text, I tried to choose the google account but it was greyed out so I wasn't able to select it.

The Google apps account is setup using imap in Outlook, whereas the other two are pop accounts so I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

I wondered if anyone else has come across this problem and whether I could receive some advice.

Thanks in advance.
