Microsoft Outlook Your IMAP server wants to alert you to the following: Too many simultaneous connections (Failure)
Sent messages do NOT appear in Sent Items folder, but have been sent.
Drafts disappear from Outlook, but if I log into Gmail they are there.
Deleted messages do not appear in Deleted Items folder.
"People" tab has five choices for My Contacts:
Contacts (This computer only) which is empty.
Contacts - *** Email address is removed for privacy *** which has addresses.
Contacts - *** Email address is removed for privacy *** which has addresses and seems to be a duplicate of the above.
Suggested Contacts which has incomplete addresses that seem to be from people to whom I sent messages.
Contacts - CMc3com@Gmail which is empty.
How do I consolidate My Contacts into one file and get Outlook to use its folders properly?
I would like to change my e-mail address, can I do that?
Have a GMAIL account and an Outlook.com account
In the outlook account have a folder *****@outlook.com which is where incoming email is landing - prefer it to default to the inbox.
I have set up the gmail account to autoforward to the outlook account -
following other guidance today installed windows live essentials to use to move over the gmail folder messages to the outlook account - this worked but since then the mail app in metro cannot connect to outlook and when in outlook.com incoming goes to the ****@outlook.com folder not the inbox
in windows live everything is ok
confused . . . .
My familyof1ness@ live.com account was created sometime ago and now I am totally lock out, but the account was created by someone else and all the information I submitted to verfiy the account was rejected as I truly do not remember everything I do not send mail often from this account I just receive mail most of the time. Is there anything that would help me restore this account?
Account recovery request 106672827 is now closed.
I imported a pop mail program for work to Window live mail and my in box came thru correctly. Nothing came from my sent folder or subfolders and none of my contacts imported. Any suggestions to correct. I am using Windows 7.
(As a note , when I imported my personal Hotmail all came in.)
