I need to sign in with user name and pass code each time I start the computer. Won't let me stay signed in to my live email account.

i signed into my hotmail and something stange happened, when i went to complose a new email i noticed my name which appears at the top of the page seemed funny, it now had an @live.com after it, sprawled across two lines, when i clicked on it, i was surprised
to see an OLD yahoo mail account showing below it as an alternative email, i have not linked these two, and when i go to the bit that lets me add other accounts to send and receive email via windows live, it only shows my hotmail account and doesn't say i
have any other accounts added,
whats happening and how doi stop my old email account showing in my windows live account?
i dont want to delete the old yahoo mail account, but don't want them linked, and if they are to be linked i think it should be my choice.

When in hotmail and when I try to type a ?, I get an E with an accent.
My incoming emails started coming in 'threads' or bundles when the SUBJECT fields all had the same wording. It's really annoying! How can I get rid of the bundling of my incoming emails and go back to receiving single emails, one at a time?
