i tried to enter to my e mail account on hotmail.com. they were asking me fist a security code that they was sending to an alternative e mail adress. i tried to sign in with that code but it only opened a page with settings and security options. i tried
to by modificating them be able to enter to my account but it was worthless. how complicated can it be to get to use my account again? after all it is supposed to be my account. i understand ofcourse that microsoft is trying to unly protect me, but even from
myself?
I need to find a solution soon, cause my mail contains valious information respect my work.

I am in the process of moving all of my pcs and tablets and phones to windows 8 moving away from Android Mac etc. I have an existing Sky drive account that I have had for years with the 25 GB free loyalty upgrade attached to it. I have now created my own
domain name with my own email address names and have created a new Microsoft Account as part of the move. I have been trying to move my free 25GB allowance to my new 7 GB account but it appears impossible. I have read on a the Microsoft site somewhere that
as it is not possible to rename the main email address on a Microsoft account in order to keep using the 25 GB allowance unless it is renamed to a Outlook or Hotmail address. As such I have had to create a new Microsoft account with my new email address and
now only have access to 7GB. I read also though if a new Microsoft account is created due to the need of changing email address etc, then as long as Microsoft can verify that the old address was eligible for the 25 GB and the new account is owned by the same
person and the change is recent then they have the ability to upgrade the NEW account to the 25GB for free. I would like to investigate this further. My old Microsoft account email address is

My wife created two Hotmail accounts for our children (they are quite young still) and has been sending them messages and pictures that hopefully one day when they are bigger they can read and see what they were doing and what was happening at the time.
She just tired to send them a message but the mail bounced back saying the address no longer exists. We tired to log into the account and got the same message.
Can anyone tell me if the accounts have been removed for good or is there a way to get them back? In hindsight we should have been logging into the accounts periodically to keep them active.

I open up Outlook and after a few seconds , whether I have open and e-mail, writing an e-mail or just in the in box , it blanks out and reloads. Sometimes I receive a message that it wants to leave the page I am on, usually when I am in an email or composing

My friend currently has a problem with her account.
When she tries to log in - a massage is displayed saying that - Another person might be using your account and you have to verify yourself -
Afterwards hotmail asks to send a security code to another hotmail account. The problem is that the account that hotmail suggest is not one that we know and it is not possible to type in any other account.
What is the error and how to fix the problem?

I have seen a few of these posts here and I have called Microsoft support services and they told me I should make my own post for help.
My father wanted to surprise me with a new computer and tried to set up a Microsoft account using my primary email address. I received a notification to verify the account on my phone and seeing as I was not aware of my fathers intentions, I thought someone
else had access to my email information and I chose to cancel the verification request. Now that I know it was a mistake, I was hoping I could recover this email address as it is my primary email account and I would love to link my messages and emails onto
my new computer. Any help I can get from a moderator would be greatly appreciated and I will check my personal messages regularly.
