Access to my regular Hotmail account is currently blocked. I believe this is because it was thought I have been using it to send spam emails. When I try to logon I get the message "It looks like someone else might be using your account".

I am then led to a questionnaire ( https://account.live.com ). I fill this in to the best of my ability and shortly after receive an email (to a different account) to say that Microsoft will respond within 24 hours. I do not received a response. I have repeated this cycle of form filling and waiting for a response for 24 hours, several times.

Then I did get a response:

"

This link sends me back to  the same cycle  https://account.live.com  as before. Please don't suggest I go back to the same link that I originally had a problem with, without giving me some additional info to go on. I'm fed up with going round in circles!

Surely someone out there knows how to sort this thing out instead of everyone wasting time messing around on

PS I have not been sending spam, but emails to charitable donors - all of whom have donated to my cause before. It seems that because many have changed their email addresses and thus got returned as undeliverable that your algorithm has decided I am a spammer.

How can I recover this account? Thank you

How do I solve this problem?

I have Windows 8. My SkyDrive is no longer in my system tray. My SkyDrive account still exists and the SkyDrive folder on my computer still exists. I cannot uninstall SkyDrive app. When  I try to reinstall it I get this error message, "SkyDrive is still running". However, it is not in my task manager or start menu. Also, I get this message, "We couldn't find your SkyDrive folder in C:\Users\(My Computer Account Name)\SkyDrive, but it is there. When I click to reconfigure my SkyDrive folder, it doesn't fix it. I cannot sync my SkyDrive folder.
I regularly correspond with someone who can only send and receive plain text, so I set Live Mail default to send plain text Quoted Printable (which prevents auto text wrapping) so that he can paste selections into other documents.

He sends very long replies, also as unwrapped plain text, but Windows Live Mail wraps the received mail at 76 characters in the reading pane and window.  This is irritating enough on a 30" monitor with 2500 horizontal pixels to play with, but devastatingly inconvenient when trying to paste into other documents, because text copied from the reading window retains the line breaks that Windows Live Mail officiously puts there.

How do I disable this anachronistic 'feature'?

Outlook messaging overlay covers the received email date and time column

How do I view the far right column with the time and date of my received emails?

I will check this forum and also please respond to this email: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***
Note, I do not have this problem with this email account yet.
Hello,

Now that linking accounts has been disabled, I have been attempting to access my three accounts from just one account. I use each separate account for a different purpose on the web.

Inbox>Options>Your email accounts

When I go to add one as an alias, it says I cannot because it is already taken.

When I got to simply add an account, and it sees I am trying to add another @live or @hotmail, it says I should instead link the accounts.

Problem is, linking is disabled!

Any solution to this problem? I can't simply start new email addresses, because I have been using all three for over 5 years.

I could forward the emails to the main account, but I couldn't send any from those tertiary accounts.

Help!

Please and thank you ^_^ Constantly having to sign in and out is driving me crazy haha

I get too many junk mail in Outlook even after blocking them.  The same name but domain keeps constantly changing e.g., TIRE@------ .com, .net, .org

The Hotmail > Outlook conversion has made modifying groups nearly impossible.  Older forum solutions refer to menus that are no longer there.  Can someone post new instructions how to add and delete from groups.
I have lost all my favourite e mail addresses since being changed to outlook, does anybody know how to retrieve them
