Not receiving any emails to my hotmail account

For two days now I have not been receiving any emails into my hotmail account. 

I have tried and can still send emails from this account.

I have sent a test email from another email account to my hotmail. This is not received and I did not get anything bouncing back or any message to say it was not received. 

I have cleared out my sent items and am not at my account data limit.

I do not have any forwarding email alerts set up.

Any ideas? 

SENT mail in OUTLOOK

Although OUTLOOK confirms send and receive capability for my gmail and webmail mail accounts, emails do not show up in OUTLOOK as quickly as it does in those accounts. Also, SENT mail is not emboldened and does not show number of emails like INBOX and DELETED.

A response as to why the fonts keeps changing!!! It was designed that way!

After nearly a year and multiple threads on this one issue alone this thread was supposed to be escalated to an Engineer. A forum moderator replied who claims to be a support specialist replied. I can honestly say Microsoft has finally driven me away from PCs and into a Mac.  Some as basic as a font setting was designed to keep the user settings!!! If we're lucky some techy outside of Microsoft will create a work around but I'm not staying! A dedicated Hotmail user of over decade has finally been driven away! RonielD and his post:

I would like to inform you that this is by design as HTML formatting is being used.

This usually happens when you delete the entire paragraph resulting to deleting the tagging information at the beginning of that paragraph that defines the font and attributes of the paragraph.

 

Furthermore - if the you uses [CTRL+Enter] for line breaks instead of just using Enter; you will retain font information across line breaks when moving to new paragraphs.

can’t access email via iPhone after Outlook Outage of 8.14

My Outlook/Hotmail account synced with my iPhone flawlessly up until there was a large-scale system outage with Outlook on 8.14. Now I cannot access my email on my mobile device.

I have Office 2010 on my Win 7 desktop.  I have a rule in my destop outlook to forward mail to my outlook.com account.  These bounce back with the error message:

 

   Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

        Subject:    FW: Kahkwa Golf

        Sent: 8/16/2013 7:21 AM

   The following recipient(s) cannot be reached:

      denny's outlook (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***) on 8/16/2013 7:21 AM  (note - I edited my address for this post)

            Server error: '421 4.1.8 - Domain of recipient does not resolve [R0309001]'

 Is the problem at your end or my end?

Cannot sync hotmail to iphone5

It happened since hotmail was upgrading to outlook. Whenever I tried to sync mails to my phone, a message pops up saying "cannot connect to server" , and none of the new emails can be downloaded to my phone. In additional to that, all the recent emails are gone and left withi the emails from 2012 on the phone. Now that I see outlook is functioning normally on its status report, but my phone is still having the same issue. I tried to delete my account on phone And add it again, new emails can download but when I click into it, it says "the message content cannot be downloaded fr server" please help

How do I print an email so that it does not get cut off?

I want to print an email that I received.  At present it is being cut off and all the data to the left and right shows up.  I tried highlighting what I wanted and it didn't work.  The email was cut off and it showed all the text that was not highlighted as well.   I need this email printed.

unending problems with emails on my iphone- when will this be fixed?

this has been going on now for several days. are all with iphones having trouble with erratic email reception? any news on what is going on?
