Trying to reclaim my old Hotmail address

My Hotmail account was deleted because I have been forwarding mail from it to another account and did not realize I had to login to keep it active. 

I've tried to open a new account with the same email but I get a message that it is taken. It can't be taken by someone else as when I send an email to the old address it bounces back. Could anyone help me figure out how to open the account again? I don't need to recover anything, I just want the email address active again because I can't login to one of my accounts as it's sending the 'forgot password' links to the old email.

Hi. I have this account in Hotmail since 2008 but suddenly on May 2012 all my emails were erased since i created my account; I remember this situation happened on 2010 too. Could you explain why my email are deleted and the most important: how can I recover it since first email in 2008?

Outlook 2013 on my W8 desktop, W8 phone emails on Outlook, Outlook 2013 on my Surface Pro emails all don’t work now

I switched totally to MS Window 8 in March. I have a W8 phone, desktop, and surface. 

 

I reinstalled my Outlook 2013 on my desktop to see if that would work so I can get my emails, which I did.  However, now I can't get onto the "server." My people and calendar and tasks are empty.  This is from my desktop. 

 

Outlook.com is working fine. 

 

My W8 phone's email is not working like everyone else's.

 

My Surface Pro which has Outlook 2013 on the desktop can't send/received emails as "a network connection could not be established." Yes, my working offline is off.  The email service from outlook.com to any of the Outlook 2013 are not syncing correctly and haven't for 2 days. 

 

Help please.

How do I unconnect my Skype account from my Hotmail (Microsoft) account?

Hi there,

 

I would like to unconnect my Skype account from my Hotmail because I find whenever I sign into my Hotmail account on my computer all my messages from Skype load onto my Hotmail.  I find it really annoying and I can't figure out how to delete the messages from my Hotmail even.  Is there any way to just unconnect my two accounts from eachother and make them seperate accounts not associated to eachother?  I thought that having it this way would be easier but now I'm just finding it annoying.  Please and thank you in advance!! Any ideas on how to would be much appreciated! I don't know if this matters but my computer is a Windows PC. :)

Hi - I need greater ability to manage account settings/passwords for my users on private domain using Outlook.com

My domain is graef.org

Can someone please help me with this? My family has been without mail for several days since moving from Google apps.

Hi

This is my very last option. I don't know what else to do.

So, my main Email address is locked. This was done by me. I accidentally had caps lock on when trying to log into my account from an rarely used domain. 

So, I attempt to get my password back however my recover email is a copy of my email but with a .com at the end. 

So when I try to use that to retrieve the password it says that the email address is an invalid Microsoft email.

When submitting a form to retrive my account,  it says that they cannot verify me as the owner. All the information is as accurate as I can give as the account is well over 10 years old.

Please can someone tell me what I can do? I can easily provide evidence of who I am but don't have the option to so so.

Edit: when I try to use an email to recover my password only 1 email shows up but when I try to send a password change out from my account 2 emails show up and one of these emails is this however changing the password does not solve my problem.

After what seems like a decade of relatively trouble free email, I have grown weary of being asked for extra security details.
I will never give in to Microsofts demand for an extra email address, or a personal telephone number, so I have moved to a new email provider.
I am ready to confirm the closure of my old account and have tried repeatedly to do so, but I keep getting the error message -
"We can't show you that page. Our server is having a problem. We're working to fix it as soon as we can, so try again in a few minutes."

I have no billing set up and only ever used the hotmail facility.
I have my old email address and its unique ID number ready to give you.
Please can you assist and close my account.




hotmail not communicating with outlook

I have tried reentering the connector several times to no avail.  Decided to start fresh and now I'm stuck.  Have entered pop.hotmail.com and smtp.hotmail.com which was recommended on another site but have not had any success with this - something about a startll...?

Cust unable to access acount on mobile but can access on web

I can not sync my email with my windows phone or with the windows 8 app . I can only access my email through logging in online.
