I got a mail with an attachment and i can not download the attachment just like anyone having posted same questions here.
I even can not forward that mail with the attachment to my other mail address !
I have the sender added into the Safe senders and checked "Show attachments, pictures, and links for senders with good reputations" on! But nothing changed!
I do not need this function to protect me from virus because this function is very stupid and only able to check the attachment by the file extensions! I do have my excellent anti-virus software installed!
Why the team can not offer a button like "I do need to download it anyway!"?
I received a message from "Microsoft" asking me to update security info within 7 days or my account would be frozen. I haven't a clue as to what this message is asking or whether it's actually from Microsoft. If there is an actual live body at Microsoft
monitoring this board (sorry for the snark but you can understand why) could you please tell us whether this message is real and how we should respond. Tom
I accidentally deleted my hotmail.co.uk email address when trying to get rid of a new xbox live gamertag. Can somebody please tell me how to get it back? I have tried changing the password and recovering the account, but both say that it does not exist.
However when I try to create it again it says that it is already in use! My email address is *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

Receiving tons of junk emails in my inbox. A lot of them I cannot move them to the future as junk because outlook cannot do it. Any solutions?
I set the parameters of the web filtering to only the first 2. Saved my settings exited, went back and typed **** in the search bar. There was a smorgasbord of sites to choose from. Clearly isn't working at all.
I can't change my profile picture for my outlook email. I have tried the basic stuff and it is not working. It seems that my pic might have come over from Facebook when I made an account there (not sure though). I've deleted the pic from Facebook but it
is still on my outlook email. Currently, my outlook says I don't have a profile picture (since I deleted everything I could), but when I send an email, there's that picture I don't want people to see! Can anyone PLEASE help? I don't want to send any more emails
like this. Thanks.
Hello,
Recently I have been trying to log into my Outlook account. This account was created for me throughout my enrollment in college. So with that being said there are emails regarding school sent to this only this account. Each time I try to log into the account
a new window appears with a box explaining that in order for me to access my account I need to sign out of my Outlook 365 account (which I do not have). I have tried clicking the link to proceed to the next step of allowing me to log out of the account, but
I am just taken back to the original login page. Throughout the process it occurred to me that I was logged into the account on a different computer. With that being said, I checked every computer that I would have be logged on in. Sure enough that wasn't
the problem.
If anyone has any input on what the issue may be please let me know.
Microsft corp. has gotten too big. When people ask for an answer to a problem they get 10 different ways to correct the problem. Everything is getting too complicated. Keep it simple and to the point.
I have had my Hotmail (now Outlook account for over 15 years. I have always been impressed with how junk is filtered into the Junk folder.
However, over the past few days I have started getting obvious junk mail directly into my inbox (not the Junk folder).
My junk settings are set to Exclusive, so I should only receive messages from either my contacts or addresses on my safe list into my inbox.
Today for example, I received a message Subject: Are you suitable for laser eye surgery? from *** Email address is removed for privacy *** on behalf of Optical.Express (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***). When I click into message details, it says "This sender is in your contact list". I have checked my
contact list (and my safe senders) and this contact is definitely not in my contacts.
How/why is Outlook now allowing these items into my inbox, is the 'exclusive' junk filter broken, and how to I fix it?
Any help much appreciated.
