Hi. Is there any way for my last name to be displayed correctly on my Outlook profile (https://profile.live.com)?
I keep getting the error message "This name contains a word that isn't allowed. Please enter a different name."
I'm assuming it's because the middle partion of my Norwegian surname is considered a (very mild) swear-word when isolated, and therefore on some list of prohibited names..? My surname is actually just the name of my ancestors' old farm in Norway, so it's pretty
annoying to not be able to use it...
I've already tried changing/saving the "country" on my account settings (from Norway to USA, Switzerland, Sweden etc), and then attempted to change my name, but with no luck.

I have an Outlook profile which has a photo of myself on it. When I send e-mails however, a photo of a man appears on the e-mails I send. I don't know who the man is and I can't find the photo saved on my profile. I am really confused, can anyone help
with this?

I do not want a profile picture. I have eddited my profile and currently it has no picture. When I am in my outlook inbox or writing an email there is no picture, just as I want. However, whenever I go in to my 'sent' emails they all display the picture
from my facebook account on my profile. As my outlook profile has no picture there seems to be no way for me to remove this? Can someone please tell me how to unlink my facebook from outlook (I do not recall ever linking them so not sure how it happened) and
how to make sure that the emails I send do not have any picture for me? Thank you in advance.
I can't change my profile picture for my outlook email. I have tried the basic stuff and it is not working. It seems that my pic might have come over from Facebook when I made an account there (not sure though). I've deleted the pic from Facebook but it
is still on my outlook email. Currently, my outlook says I don't have a profile picture (since I deleted everything I could), but when I send an email, there's that picture I don't want people to see! Can anyone PLEASE help? I don't want to send any more emails

I have 2 different @gmail accounts added to my @outlook profile, and one of them has recently stopped receiving messages.
I go into <Inbox -> Options -> Your email accounts> and see the following:
Account1 (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***)
Account2 (on behalf of *** Email address is removed for privacy ***)
I can then select Details > Edit for Account1 without any issues.
When I go to Details > Edit for Account 2, the error 'Sorry, there seems to be a problem with Outlook right now' comes up.
I am hesitant to remove Account2, because according to the system it may take a long time to re-add it, and there may be duplicate messages as a result.
The error appears on IE8 and IE9 on 3 different PC's.
Any help would be appreciated.

I was able to go offline and remove that from the Outbox, but now my Send/Receive progress bar sits at 80% and hangs there--forever!--without completing. When I go into the details, it tells me that my profile is "completing" but it never does.
Anyone?

I bought Microsoft Office: Mac 2011 and as I wanted to set up my outlook profile it asked for the product code. As I entered it it said it is not the correct code am I using the correct code of is there an alternative.
