For the last couple of days, some emails sent to me were not received. These are not new senders but colleagues I email many times every day, so just some random ones seem not to be delivered. There is no one in my Blocked Senders list, and nothing in the Junk Folder. Also, Some of my Sent emails are not being received - not sure how many, but I can reproduce this problem to a person in my office every time I attempt to send her an email, it doesn't show up, although no error or bounce messages is generated. And, the email shows up in my Sent Folder as if all is well.
my account has been blocked for sometime now and I have tried everyway possible to get it unblock as its used for all my personal details. I received an email and sxr code and a case number for escalation, but then no one has been able to help. I finally got a message today saying that I need to contact Microsoft public moderators support because they are the only ones who can help me. its for a different account other than the one I am using to signin today on. can someone please help me????
I've replied to an another message in the forum regarding Outlook.com's Exclusive email filter setting not working correctly.
My issue is that I've removed all safe/blocked senders and should only be getting email from addresses in my contact list. This is blocking valid senders (e.g. Microsoft, Amazon, USAA, ...) but is still allowing spammers through. When I view details of the message I'm told that the send is in my contact list. This isn't true.
I then looked at the message source and found that the spammers are including three From addresses:
From:=?ASCII?B?Kk1hdGNoLmNvbURhdGluZ1BhcnRuZXIq?=
From:gddf<*** Email address is removed for privacy ***>
From:vcb12bb*** Email address is removed for privacy ***
Note that *** Email address is removed for privacy *** is gddf ...
I have removed myself from my contact list, but it still comes through. I guess you can't omit yourself!
Maybe you can mark Spam anyone who had multiple "from" tags in their source?
Hope this helps ...
Hi,
I recently set up a hotmail/outlook account, and I keep being prompted to connect 'my' facebook account, however this facebook account is not related to me in the slightest.
Not only is it worrying that somebody elses facebook account is relating to my hotmail, it's also quite irritating that there seems to be no way of removing this 'connection' between the two. I have searched the topic and all I have come accross is to log into
my facebook account and change the settings from within there, which is of no help because the account connected is not my facebook, so i cannot log into it.
Here is a screenshot of what I mean, the facebook account shown above is no relation to me whatsoever.
How can I remove this association from my hotmail??
Thanks in advance,
Karen
