I have an linked Microsoft account, I tried to remove the default email for changing security info, the system said this would take a month so I canceled the process and tried to have it send an E-mail to the original E-mail account, but it claims We couldn't send the code. Please try again. every time I have it try to send. Also I still can not verify this computer as sending all verification E-mails have been messed up by this process.

Decided to add my hotmail account as an alias to my new outlook account. Decided to remove it as it copied over all my contacts which I didn't want. So - I removed the hotmail alias but it has deleted the whole hotmail account. I have tried to recreate
the address (says it is already in use) and tried to log back in (says it doesn't exist).
I have this account registered with so many sites! Really need to get it back. Please Help!

Trying to change my Microsoft account's primary email address, and it's not going very well. Hoping someone here can help.
I currently use an old Ontera email address to log into my Microsoft accounts. That address isn't active anymore, so i'd like to switch it out and use my current Gmail address for login/communication purposes. It's to my understanding that I need to change the account's alias to the Gmail address, drop the Ontera address, and put the Gmail as primary. When I go to add the new Gmail alias, I get the following message: "This email address is already taken. Please try another." That tells me I have already used the Gmail address to make a Windows account, which I don't recall doing.
Any attempts to login with the Gmail address give me an error saying: "That Microsoft account doesn't exist. Enter a different email address or get a new account." If I attempt to reset the password for the Gmail address, I get this: "The Microsoft account is incorrect. Please try again." If I try to create a new account using the Gmail address it tells me that it's unavailable.
Am I doing something wrong? Or is there a genuine issue going on here somewhere?
Also for what it's worth, I did something to the security info and when I click on it I get this:
"You recently updated your security info
We have a waiting period for the updates to take effect. On 9/26/2013, we'll delete your old security info:
BLANK
Once this is deleted, you'll be able to verify your account with info you have access to. If you didn't make the updates, or if you still have access to the above info, cancel the updates."
Honestly not sure what that means, but I must've done something while trying to figure out the address login issue.
I'm using Skype, but sometimes Skyped messages show-up in Outlook's Messaging... but NOT on in Skype, so they get unnoticed for sometime.
Trying to acces help by selecting the "help center" item in the "settings" menu.
I choose the stock ICS browser and get a "web page not available" result. Internet access is fine, I can get other pages elsewhere. Just can't get SKYDRIVE HELP.
(And the available choices for "topic" on this posting web page should be improved because there is no applicable option for this issue.)
