- Google Chrome browser used (cannot find a version number- help?).
- Windows 7 operating system. Microsoft Security Essentials - most recent updates installed.
- Use the free version of CCleaner, updated May 24, 2013.
- My Outlook account was hacked about a month ago. I have had this account for MANY years - started as a Hotmail account. I changed my password to a more complex one after the hacking, and it worked after a little effort. Password was sent to my secondary email account (non-Outlook).
- I have received 2 emails from my own account: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. After the first, I changed password since I figured I'd been hacked. For about a month things seemed okay. I received another from my account in the past couple days. Does this mean they still have access to my account/computer files?? Unfortunately, I reported both as phishing scams to Outlook & the message then disappears from my system.
- Thank you for any assistance given.
Hi there.
I have two live.com accounts and have been using them without a problem until 2 hours ago, when I was told to verify my account with some security code before further access. I tried clicking on the "Skip" link because I have 6 more days before this account gets locked, but that didn't work. So okay, I chose to send the new code to my alternate email address and that work. My security info was updated. I was then prompted to sign out.
Then I realised that it takes about 30 days for my info to be updated. After I was "done", and signed out, I signed in again only to be faced with the same message that on 9/28/2013, my old security info will be deleted and I can verify my account with info I have access to. And there was only a sign out button at the bottom. So..does this mean that I have to wait 30 days before I can have access to my inbox? I can't afford that.
Appreciate any assistance.
Thanks!
(PS: I don't use a smartphone so I can't download whatever authentication app that was required in the two-step verification portion.)
In the body of the email, I get :
X( big cross) This content cannot be displayed in a frame.
Means I cannot write anything. have had it for about 24 hours now. What should I do?
HELP!!
I CAN'T GET INTO MY INBOX FOR MY EMAIL ACCOUNT ANYMOR WHEN I SIGN IN....I can no longer see the inbox or forward or open my email.
I hate OUTLOOK!!
PLEASE HELP NOW!!
Thank you,
*** Email address is removed for privacy ***
I have accounts created on domains live (@avanzar.com.pe) and since yesterday we can not receive emails, the messages that senders receive is as follows:
Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:
*** Email address is removed for privacy ***
Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the server for the recipient domain outbounds200.obsmtp.com by outbounds200.obsmtp.com. [207.126.147.11].
The error that the other server returned was:

I have a fairly specific outlook.com to the work I do, and as much as I set up rules to delete unwanted email its a losing battle.
Ive got over 100 rules, and Im no longer keeping up.
Is it possible to set up a rule that deletes everything, and then sets up rules with a greater priority for specific emails I want to let
through? Along the lines of:
Rule 1 - move email from abc.com to inbox
Rule 2 - move email from xyz.com to inbox
Rule 3 - if the email is from someone else, delete it
I seem to remember that rules cant be directly used in this way, but Im wondering if you can specify them in a manner that
does the above (or something similar)
Thanks1
