As I had not had to log in for a while, as the apps keep me logged in, when I logged in on the Samsung i got it wrong and it prompted me to decide where to receive an email with a reminder - i tried this many many times as no mail arrived - hours later one mail did arrive and managed to change my password. However, I was then informed I could not access the Sjydrive as there had been a possible violation of TOU. I mailed the support team and posted on the forum here. Meanwhile, my wife could still get the pictures on her android phone (perhaps because it was logged in on my old password??and she mailed me links to the folders - I could still access the folders from the links even though I could not through my normal log in - the message still appeared saying the account was closed down. Today, a moderator has informed me that my account appears to be normal, there has been no violation of the TOU etc. I have logged in and yes, my Skydrive is open as normal. However, the only files that are there are the pictures from my phone that were never on there! The thousands of photos that I uploaded are no longer there!!! But, my wife can still see them on her phone and I can still see them when I click on the links - the problem is want to be able to get them the normal way - in my Skydrive account when I log in - can you help?
I posted the following question to the community last week:
I had both Hotmail.com and Outlook.com loaded on Microsoft Outlook 2010 using the Microsoft Outlook Connector.
Today, I decided to move my e-mails from Hotmail to Outlook.com - it seems to work as I started seeing these e-mails on Outlook.com. Soon I realized that the "sync" process was over but only a tiny fraction of the e-mails had been transferred. The rest of the e-mails have disappeared from Hotmail.com and are also not on Outlook.com.
I had simply dragged the folder (Inbox, or "Personal" or "Family") from Hotmail to Outlook.com.
I really want to retrieve my e-mails - accumulated over many years.
I never deleted any of the e-mails and am at a loss. The "Recover Deleted Items" button in the Outlook bar is greyed out.
Later, I did receive a Synchronization Report and the many errors that led to the aborted transfer - it self deleted in a few minutes :-(.
Please help!
Thank you.

This issue was escalated and resulted in a standard and irrelevant "your account may have been hacked..." "your account was not used in the last 365 days...". No one actually seemed to have looked at the problem.
This is not right - a few Gigabytes of e-mail disappearing with a simple folder drag should be traceable. I did not delete any files whatsoever. A partial transfer indicates that something may have gone wrong at the server level. I want Outlook Support to track these e-mails.
I recently configured two factor authentication for my microsoft account.
I was wondering if this automatically makes my skydive two factor secure?
Reason being.. I am still using SkyDrive and it hasn't asked me to authenticate.
Also, do I need to connect my Microsoft Account with Skype in order for two factor authentication to work for skype? (And.. will it work with Skype for Windows Desktop? (NOT the windows 8 app))?
Thanks for any tips
